Wherever they go…

I’m not in my best of mood. Just last night I was forced to give some coffee money…or rather Starbucks money to the legal terrorist who are obviously working part time on the side of a shady street.ร‚ย  This time around was Rm20. Tsk tsk tsk. If I were to donate money, I would very much prefer to give it to the homeless or beggars on the street rather than these nincompoops who misuse their power.

I was absolutely furious, not because I lost money, but because I felt violated…but of course…there is nothing much I can do cuz they are apparently the favourite fungal pets of the current ruling government. Tsk…I do wish that they get STD and live to suffer pus in their scrotum for a very long time. *nods* Either that or they live to see their family members to die in the most horrible way possible. ๐Ÿ˜€ Such thoughts really makes me happy.

Just like these bags makes me happy… they are from my friends whom have been very thoughtful and bought them for me whenever they go for a vacation and whatnot.

Apparently I am much more transparent than any ruling government on the face of the Earth. People seems to be able to guess that I really do fancy bags.

This cute black and white bag with black elephant prints is from a mummy with two darling little girls. I think she bought it during one of her vacation. Cute, isn’t it? This one is one of my personal favourite apart from the handmade bag that Smallkucing’s Mamarazzi gave me for my birthday last year. ๐Ÿ˜€ It’s very chic, really. I even bought it to a formal dinner and a wedding dinner. Beats having those glittery but not so functional bag people usually carry. ๐Ÿ˜›

This bag is also from one of my blogger friend. I dubbed this unique bag a ‘condom dress bag’, because they really do looks like they’re made from colourful condoms. LOL. This one is not only unique, but it’s also very functional. I can put quite a lot of things in it and I usually use it to put books when I’m on the go. Geez, I don’t know why my friend thinks of me when she bought this bag. Seems like I am not so innocent in her eyes after all. Tsk tsk tsk!

The most recent addition to my bag collection is these. Another friend gave them to me as a belated birthday and Christmas present. She’s a mummy with twins.

A small bag with flower and almost transparent turtle prints on it. I don’t know what this bag is for, but I’ve already used it to put some of my make ups and sunblocks in it. ๐Ÿ˜€

And this cute handphone bag

Ohhh, I absolutely love this one. It can fit my phone just right and it’s made from really nice fabrics. I wonder if it’s hand made? I’ve never seen anything like this being sold commercially.

Looking at these bags makes me feel very happy. It’s really a consolation that I don’t just attract troubles from street dogs who asks money from me to go for a Fruppocino or two in Starbucks as my friends do keep me in their thoughts no matter where there go.

Cleffairy: Hopefully…I can get them something nice in return too whenever I manage to go for a vacation or someplace interesting. ๐Ÿ˜€

On the lows

Sorry for the lack of updates. Yours truly is really on the lows… low on blood pressure, low in sugar in her blood, and really low on the mood. Truthfully, I’m feeling kinda depressed these few days, because I feel disappointed towards friends whom I thought were friends for life, considering that we grew up together and stuff.

Honestly, I feel as if I have the need to re-evaluate my relationship with people whom I have known for a very long time. I come to realize that all these while, they are merely manipulating me and using me for their convenience and toss me aside when they do not have such a need for me.

You know, I’m kinda sick of being someone who comforts those who are crying their heads off because their boyfriends dumps them and stuff… and when they have no problems in their life and whatnot, they push me aside and be sarcastic towards me in public. I am also sick of standing up for such people when they did no such thing for me in return. Friendship is a give and take kinda thing, so if you can’t do that, I’m okay if you’re out of my life.

Cleffairy: I don’t need a friend who sneer at me during dinner date and stuff, and I certainly do not appreciate being someone’s dog, doing favours for people when they desperately need it and yet is ungrateful about it. Sneer and be sarcastic towards others if you want, but if you do such a thing again in my presence, I’ll be suggesting you to go back and brush up your manners.

Do not procrastinate from paying your debts!

Sometimes you just have to face yourself and realize that you you are where you are because of some poor choices you made along the way. Sometimes we think that if we put things off a little longer, it will be better. But hear me loud and clear, it is not! If you’re putting off paying credit card debt, you need to face up to it. Procrastination only makes things worse, it prolongs the pain and the worry unnecessarily. Procrastination is the is like a thorn in the side, it’s every time you put something off for some reason or another (usually instant gratification). But no matter how long you put it off it will still be there. Taking care of your debt requires you to make some serious changes in your life and your habits. It’s not just about taking the easy road, there really is no easy road. Life is full of challenges and obstacles, and with every one of those situations comes a lesson to be learned.

When it comes to debt so many people procrastinate because they unknowingly trying to avoid the feelings of pain. Addressing the problem is a reminder of the mistakes that you once made. By leaving the task unaccomplished you begin to turn a small problem into a bigger one, the longer you put something off, the worst in becomes. The goal in this situation is to stop thinking about it and take the action to tackle whatever it is that is haunting you. If you look too far ahead, your task starts to seem impossible, you begin to think about how many months or years it will take you to complete it and it becomes overwhelming. Thinking too far ahead is not always beneficial, especially when it comes to paying off your debt. Just take the first step, it can and will change your life.

Every time you put an important task off, or put something on hold for a later time it will make you feel bad over time. Make a list of things that you have to take care of in order of importance and begin to tackle them one at a time. The sooner you do this, the great you will feel. When it comes to your debt, there are many easy steps to take. They do take work and time, but there’s no greater feeling than getting rid of tsomething that is so draining on your energy.

Taking that first step is not always easy, fear is the number one reason people avoid doing what they have to do. It’s time now to step out of your shell and take charge of your life for t he better. Whatever it is that is holding you back, you can overcome it. Devise a plan and follow it, just do it!!

Can you?

Can you write a blog entry without pictures? I can. I definitely can write without having the need to compose my stories with the assistance of pictures. It is not an issue to me. I can go on and on writing like nobody’s business without a picture.

But can you read a blog post without any pictures? I daresay not many pay attention to read what others wrote when there are no pictures, especially if it’s a long winded entry. More often than not, people just skim through, and hurriedly leave comment before leaving or hopping to another blog.

Tsk… and therefore…miscommunication and misunderstandings always happen.

It disgust me when that happen… especially when the comment that was left was completely irrelevant to what I wrote. It’s like chicken and duck talk.

So, how do you actually get messages across when you have no pictures to use to assist your writing? Tsk… I’m afraid I have no answer to that.

Cleffairy: Men are visual creatures, are they not?

Malaysia Open Source Conference 2011

I may have led some of my friends to believe that I went on a second honeymoon in Batu Ferringhi Beach, Penang, Malaysia earlier this month. I am not sure if I should say this, but reality is quite far removed from the truth. My family and I were actually there not completely for pleasure, but for business purpose.

My family went down to the Northern of Penang for Malaysia Open Source Conference 2011. The event was held in Bayview Beach Resort, Batu Ferringi, Penang from 3rd to 5th July 2011.

Being an Open Source supporter, I have no high expectation on this event,, considering that despite of it being a community based conference, the way the organizers organized this conference is much more similar to those conference done by our government- where community does not exactly have much say in decision making and whatnot.

Call me stereotyping, but it doesn’t help my confidence either especially when the way they organizedร‚ย  this whole thing is practically similar to Linux Varsity Skudai 2010- where certain university has more say in the event decision making and whatnot instead of the community who are supposed to be in charge of the event in the first place.

It is beyond my comprehension why the Malaysian Open Source Conference must be done in Penang. Marketing-wise, it would make much more sense if the event was held in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya or Cyberjaya. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this event is aimed to educate corporate companies on open source awareness, is it not? Most IT-based companies’ headquarters is not in Penang, am I right? Tsk…really made me wonder why it must be done in Penang. Sponsor problems, I assume? There must be backstage ball-gripping and yadda yadda dictatorship stunt was going on somewhere. *TSK*

Anyway, while the conference attract loads of walk-in visitors as well as students (freebies galore… *roll eyes*), it is still a disappointment to me as INTERNET CONNECTION WAS PRACTICALLY NONEXISTENT in Malaysia Open Source Conference 2011. Where the hell was the ISP sponsor? Hmm, no idea. (*shakes head… not marketable, of course no ISP sponsors! Who the hell wanna sponsor something that could not benefit them in return anyway*)

What a shame. An IT event without reliable Internet connection. Completely laughable, I must say. And to think they chose a venue with unreliable Internet connection. It is like eating fried rice, minus the rice or drinking milkshake, without the milk!

Another thing is that the issues of speakers and the topic of their speech. I was rather disappointed. I was expecting something more… interesting. But then again, this is individual opinion.

Anyway, if my husband did not need to attend the small-scale graduation ceremony over there in the Malaysian Open Source Conference 2011, I would have declared that this event is not worth attending and a complete waste of time, effort and money. To me, an IT conference that failed to have a proper Internet connection is not even worth my consideration, what more paying to attend it to listen to paid speech.

Sometimes I wonder what good does it make if the concept is good but the execution is….’questionable’?

Anyway, at the end of the day, I am extremely glad that I did not give any of the organizer my media contacts, or my friends who is still practicing in media line would have laughed at me for not having an insight to warn them that live reporting, live blogging, live streaming and whatnot would have not been possible due to the lack of Internet connection. Phew! At least I did not loose face and made the members of the media laugh in my face for being bloody foolish- an IT conference where Internet connection is practically nonexistent…quite a joke, I must say!

Cleffairy: Was forced to consider that bloody trip as a honeymoon or a short vacation, or her blood would boil and she’d go on and on seething like a cat being poured cold water.

My life and poop. Fullstop.

Okay, disgusting title, I know, but as of late, I feel as if my life is like someone who is inside the toilet, taking her own sweet time doing her not so sweet business, but cannot really enjoy doing her business because people just had to knock on the bloody toilet door and rush her out from doing her business for trivial matters that is not even related to her. As a result… I get extremely agitated, constipated, and not to mention all stressed up cuz I ended up having severe… uh… constipation!

Do you know how it’s like to be rushed out of the toilet just so that you could attend to other matters when you’re doing business? It’s annoying, especially if it’s not the public toilet but at the comfort of your own home!

Why can’t people just respect me and leave me be? Why must you knock on the bloody door or use other toilets instead. That is my toilet. It is my rights to stay inside there to do whatever I want! If you wanna knock so much, why don’t you just go to the public toilet and rush someone who is actually hogging the toilet to talk on the phone or something?

Sometimes life can be really twisted. Sometimes, I feel as if people bangs on the toilet door as if they want to break it down and force me out of the toilet when I’m poo-ing! Dammit! LEAVE ME ALONE! And stop using emotional blackmails to make me feel bad. For what’s it’s worth, I HAVE SACRIFICED ALOT, and I would appreciate it very much if you let me poo in peace. Go bother someone else, why don’t you? If you want to please the toilet management old farts fellers so much, why don’t you just do it yourself, and stop asking me to cooperate, cuz I’m definitely not interested.

SPECIAL MESSAGE TO THE ASS LICKER: STOP THE GODDAMN BLOODY EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL. SOMETIMES, I HAVE TO PUT MYSELF… AND MY FAMILY’S INTEREST FIRST BEFORE YOURS!

Cleffairy: Tsk. Nasty metaphor, I know. My ex- English teachers are going to faint if they see me use toilet and poo as a metaphor.
