This is one witty and hillarious read. I love the playful banter, teasing and the sexual tension between the characters in this story. This story may not be so believable if you’re in medical line, but this book is irresistibly funny. I enjoyed reading it very much and by the time I hit last few pages, i wish that the story did not just end there and there’s more of it.

Definitely a keeper, and I highly recommends this book to everyone who had just had a bad day. It will surely brighten up your day.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Bell Bridge Books via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book.

Book description:

As lawyers on opposing sides of a messy divorce case, Paige Hart and Ross Bennett ought to have kept matters purely professional, yet Paige and Ross came to loathe each other with an intensity that was strictly personal. The bad blood between them takes on an unexpected new dimension when the infuriated pair is forced to share a hospital room, when they’re quarantined after being exposed to the rare and highly contagious Tibetan Concupiscence Virus that’s reputed to shift sensual desire into high gear.

When symptoms (which a nonmedical person might mistake for pure and simple lust) start showing up way ahead of schedule, the lawyers’ objections to each other are overruled — and they enjoy every minute of it. But, after the doctors declare that the disease has run its course, Paige and Ross are still feverish with a longing for one another that they hope will never be cured. When the verdict comes in, will they be sentenced to life — in love?

What I come to learn from this book is that we all should always be true to ourselves instead of going around lying to everyone and try to be what we’re not as at the end of the day, whatever lies you told will be out of the bag. It’s hard to be true to yourself and be yourself in this superficial world as there are many judgmental hypocrites out there who more often than not, judge you for your appearance and financial status.

Being a people pleaser is hard. You can’t please everyone and you might as well do something that will make yourself happy. And that’s something each and every one of us should take note of and keep reminding ourselves every day.

This book is insightful, and a wondeful read. Pure delight if you enjoy good humour and a good love story.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Carina Press via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book.

I have nothing against a holiday romance, but I have to say that while I love the plot structure, I feel that the story’s progress is rather slow. I wish the author speed up things a little bit between the characters. It would have keep me glued to the pages.

Not the kind of book that you want to go on reading one page after another, but I suppose it’s an acceptable read for a lazy holiday season where you can linger on and on to read a book in front of the fireplace.

A snowy mountainside…

A starry night…

The makings of a miracle…

Christmas has never brought out the best in the MacDougal family. Still, year after year, they gather together in the Blue Ridge Mountains to try to make the season merry and bright. They’ve never felt less like a family.

Then, in the midst of a snowy sibling shouting match, a mysterious stranger appears. He could be a criminal, a
madman—or something far more unexpected. Despite their fears and the growing danger in the dark woods around them, the MacDougals take a leap of faith. But when another stranger arrives on the mountainside, they don’t know which of them to believe. One of these men can’t be trusted. And one is about to bring Christmas into their hearts.

If you’re thirsty for something sizzling hot and different, then this book is definitely for you. A bit of a fairy tale, but not quite something for children. Definitely not something for children, though the plot reminds me a little bit of Red Riding Hood and the scheming Big Bad Wolf. I’m not the least put off by the beastiality written in this book.

Reading this book makes me feel that fairy tales and magic lives on after all, even though we’re all grown up and doesn’t not believe in the Tooth Fairy or Santa Clause anymore.

A wonderful, entertaining read, and I highly recommends this book to all paranormal romance lovers. I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars.

Once upon a time…the Blood Sorcerer vanquished the kingdom of Elden. To save their children, the queen  scattered them to safety and the king filled them with vengeance. Only a magical timepiece connects the four
royal heirs…and time is running out…

For practical Reda Weston, nothing could explain how reading a sexy version of “Little Red Riding Hood”  catapulted her into another realm—face-to-fang with the legendary wolf-creature who seduced women. A wolf who transformed into a dark, virile man…

Dayn cursed the Sorcerer that turned him wolfyn and damned him to a lonely fate. As a beast, he mated with women to gain strength. Strength he needed to rescue his royal parents. But as a man, he craved Reda’s heated, sizzling touch. With little time left, Dayn had to either embrace his wolf to save his kingdom…or fight it to save his woman.

The heroine of this book reminds me of Goldilocks. Lost, hungry and desperate, but in a good way, I suppose. I love how the story flow and the sexual tension between the characters. The story was written in a highly imaginative way that I find all of these highly amusing.

I enjoyed reading this book though I wish there’s more character development going on in the story.

I have a lot of things to say about this book, but I’ll just keep it short and sweet. This book sizzles. Read at your own risk. I was completely absorbed into this book and I feel for the heroine’s troubles. Life is not always fair and you have to do what you have to do to survive the judgmental society. Sometimes, one ought to be heartless in order to be good to oneself. I could relate to that. It’s what I have to to through every day.

This book is a wonderful and sassy read. There’s plenty of romance and plenty of drama. I enjoyed it very much and wouldn’t mind picking it up again some time soon.

I cannot ask more from this book. It was really a wonderful read, and I enjoyed every sentence of it. I’m amazed with the author’s skill in bringing the readers into the world full of magic, love, frustration and betrayal. Reading this book is like riding a roller coaster. A highly intense and emotional read at times, but not overdone. It gives hope to those who have none, and it taught one to perserve at all times, no matter how tough things get. I love the heroine. She’s something to be admired. And I like her guts for doing what she taught is right despite of people’s opinion on her.

Absolutely thrilling and I highly reccommend this book to everyone who enjoys a tasteful YA read.

Let’s just admit it. For most parents with young children, sleeping during the regular hours is not quite possible because the little devils with the appearance of a cherub simply won’t let you do it. They’re just full of energy and seems to be awake all the time, despite the fact that it passed their bedtime.

This book is definitely for parents who have trouble putting their children to sleep. It’s told in a witty, comedic and realistic way. Kudos to the author for coming up with this book.

Parents and expecting parents alike would enjoy this book, I’m sure of that.I rate this book 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Open Road Media via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book and I was not compensated in any way for writing this review.

Book description:

Go the Fuck to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don’t always send a toddler sailing blissfully off to dreamland. Profane, affectionate, and radically honest, California Book Award-winning author Adam Mansbach’s verses perfectly capture the familiar—and unspoken—tribulations of putting your little angel down for the night. In the process, they open up a conversation about parenting, granting us permission to admit our frustrations, and laugh at their absurdity.
