Wedding Insurance

I’ve been talking about bed, mattresses, furnitures, making love, and that simply screams romance, doesn’t it? Well, I’m in the mood, so bear with me, please. 😀

Speaking of lovers and romance, marriage and weddings comes to mind, doesn’t it?

While weddings is a romantic affair between two individuals, nothing is ever secured, and that is why we need wedding insurance for.

The average cost of a UK Wedding is now over £20,000* so it makes sense to protect your big day if you’re a UK citizen.

Wed safely, lovebirds. Get your wedding insured. It doesn’t matter if you decided to go for a cheap wedding insurance, just get your wedding insured so that you can have a perfect, peaceful wedding or you can forever hold your peace. 😛

Why get a wedding insurance, you ask me? Well, this is why you should at least get a cheap wedding insurance:

  • It is common that some couples have second thoughts about their wedding. And if you have to cancel the wedding for any unavoidable reason, such as an injury to you or your partner, the policy should pay out. This is likely to be one of the most useful areas of cover that wedding insurance policies offer.
  • Wedding insurance can also cover you for loss or damage to wedding attire, such as the wedding dress, as well as presents, the wedding cake, rings, flowers and gifts for the guests. Cover starts a set period before the wedding and finishes a set period after – from seven days before to 24 hours after for wedding gifts, for example – but this will vary depending on the policies you opt for.
  • You’ll be relying on wedding services from a range of providers. Wedding insurance can cover any extra costs you incur up to the policy limit if something goes wrong with these services.

Wedding insurance can protect you against a range of unfortunate events and help you make sure you are not out of pocket as a result, but whether it’s worth taking out ultimately depends on the cost of your wedding and how worried you are about things going wrong. If you’re worried about some horrible wedding crashers that will crash your wedding and ruin your big day, then getting at least a cheap wedding insurance is the only logical thing to do. It’ll spare you from worries.

Cleffairy: Some wedding insurance covers the armed forces too.

Lasik Surgery

This is a paid post/review written by me on the behalf of Stahl Eye Center.

Lasik is the most often performed surgery in the US.

Lasik vision recovery can be as little as a few hours, but most see well in about a day or two.Lasik normally has no pain, and that alone makes me so tempted to get rid of my spectacles by having lasik surgery done. Being a cheapskate, I’m worried about the budget, though. But I’m rather vain, knowing that the eye can be the most beautiful accessory a woman can have. So I’ve been checking out the website above for more infos. Anybody have questions about lasik? Visit the site above and get to be informed about the pros and cons of it.

Linkbuilding

This is a paid post written on the behalf of www.linkbuilding.org. Link Building could be one of the cleverest pieces of marketing you do – it’s low cost, highly effective at driving traffic and it can have a dramatic effect on your search engine ranking. Links are one of the most popular ways for people to find new sites and so the more quality sites that link to you the better.

Not many may want to link to your blog or your sites, but you can always outsource link building. In other words, you can buy links.

Anyway, finding quality sites to target is at the heart of any effective linking strategy. ‘Quality sites’ are not the ones that are easiest to get links from but those that will drive most relevant traffic to your site.

To find quality sites, you’ve got to do methodical research before you start – lots of it.

So here are six powerful ways to identify quality sites:

1. Mine your referrer logs

Check your referrer logs every day (if you don’t know how check with your ISP). Cut and paste that day’s referring websites into an Excel spreadsheet, then review once a month. Take the sites that refer most traffic and do a backwards link search looking for similar sites that you could also approach.

2. Find out who links to your competitors

Logic says that if sites link to your competitors, they could also link to you. This is a good start. But don’t stop at just sending ‘me-too’ link requests. Look carefully at the sites that link to your competitors. What market sectors do they come from? Are there any surprises? Is there a niche market that you haven’t thought about. Again for every useful site do a backwards link search.

3. Drill down through directories

Start with DMOZ, Yahoo and Looksmart. Look specifically for information sites or industry specific directories. Be comprehensive and explore as many relevant categories as you can.

4. Scan the Blogs

Search engines love blogs because they are full of fresh content and extensive links. They’re useful for linking because:

* Blogs are great pointers to useful interesting sites

* When you make a comment, you often get a link back to your site

* You get a feel for the real news of the day.

One of the best places to look is DayPop.com, https://www.daypop.com which is a specialized search engine that crawls more than 59,000 news sites, weblogs and RSS feeds at least once a day (and some once every 3 hours). You can find more blog search engines in The Search Engine Journal.

5. Look for ezines

Great ezines generally provide more in-depth content than blogs and are published less often. I’ve yet to find an ezine directory that I’m entirely happy with but you could try https://www.cumuli.com/ezines/ or www.ezinedepot.net. Usually, I’ll just do a Google search. If I’m looking for ezines on photography, I’ll just enter the search term, ‘photography ezines’.

6. Cultivate Journalists

Get to know the traditional media in your market sector and watch what they do online. Start to keep a record of key journalists and the type of stories they cover. Do some searches on Google News – and note the latest news in your industry. If you find this useful, sign-up for Google’s news alert service.

This methodical approach takes time but results in a long list of highly relevant link targets and an important overview of your market online.

Now you’ve got the list, go get the links. Or better still, buy the links from www.linkbuilding.org. They have the lowest and most affordable rate around.

Moving can be quite a hassle. Read the tips below from the sponsor, LA Moving Company on moving houses.

  • If storing your furniture, avoid cleaning any upholstered items because moisture can bring about mold.

  • Make sure you have enough moving supplies if packing yourself, or let your moving company know they need to bring their own supplies.
  • Make an appointment with Salvation Army if you want to donate anything.
  • Decide what you will take with you, toss, or what you need to buy.
  • Pack!

The day before your move:

Eco-friendly bags

Bag It, Don’t Bin It

You see, before I got to know Smallkucing, I never really gave reusable bags a thought.

That’s because I’m quite a litterbug and don’t quite give a damn about the environment. Shame on me. I’m the kind who fancies disposable stuff, because they’re hassle-free.

Eco-friendly bags were never in my dictionary until I get to know Smallkucing. He taught me that we’re never too young, or too old to do our part in conserving our environment and go green.

I’ve started to use these reusable bags since I got to know Smallkucing and his Mamarazzi. Like him, I now shop in style with my various colourful shopping bags. Talk about vanity. LOL. Don’t you think he looks cute modeling those bags? Suits him well, right? 😀

Anyway, here’s some tips on how to reduce plastic and paper bag consumption:

1. Start using reusable shopping bags. Find the right styles and designs to suit your taste and lifestyle.

2. Reuse plastic bags you have accumulated as garbage liners.

3. Start using Ultra Compact bags. Ultra Compact bags are small enough to stash in your purse, jacket, backpack, car, etc. Having one is always handy.

4. Spread the word to create awareness. Blog about it.

5. Cut down on plastic produce bags by bringing your own reusable produce bags when you shop.

Everyone should do their part in conserving the environment. Using eco-friendly bags is a good way to conserve the environment too. 😀 Let’s do our part.

Remember Captain Planet? Well, that guys says don’t pollute, and the power is in our hands. So stop polluting! Let’s take pollution down to zero!

Cleffairy: Sing along now!

“EARTH!”
“FIRE!”
“WIND!”
“WATER!”
“HEART!”

“By your powers combined, I am Captain Planet!”

Captain Planet, he’s our hero
Gonna take pollution down to zero

He’s our powers magnified
And he’s fighting on the planet’s side

Captain Planet, he’s our hero
Gonna take pollution down to zero

Gonna help him put asunder
Bad guys who like to loot and plunder

“You’ll pay for this Captain Planet!”

We’re the Planeteers
You can be one too
‘Cause saving our planet is the thing to do!

Looting and polluting is not the way
Hear what Captain Planet has to say!

“The Power is Yours!”

ps: Smallkucing and his Mamarazzi gave me the permission to use his photos. LOL…Please don’t steal it, okay? They’re not mine. If you wanna use them, please contact Smallkucing’s Mamarazzi at Smallkucing’s Blog.

What to Consider When Buying Car Insurance

This is a paid post written by me on the behalf of Los Angeles Car Insurance

Most people don’t know what to consider when buying car insurance.  Usually they just take the recommendations from their agent or insurance company without questioning anything on their policy.  You should consider some important features when buying car insurance.  You should know what the state minimum liability requirements are so you are in compliance with the laws in your state.  You should also know what your deductible is and ask for quotes for a higher and lower deductible.  You should know how the car insurance company will help you in the event of an accident.

If you are not meeting the state minimum liability requirements, you could be fined if you are stopped by a police officer.  You should ask your car insurance company to give you rate quotes with high liability limits so you can see if this is something that you would like to buy.  Liability limits are one of the most important features when buying car insurance.  The limits determine how much someone is paid for damage to their property or vehicle if you are found at fault in an accident.  The liability limits will also let you know how much someone will be paid if you are found responsible for their injuries.  Liability limits will also tell you the absolute maximum amount of any payout to someone else if you are found responsible for an accident.

A high deductible is a good idea only if you have enough cash stashed away to pay to the car repair shop in the event of a car accident.  If you hardly have any savings, you should ask for an insurance quote with a low deductible so you can see if you can afford the monthly car insurance payment.  A deductible is one of the important features when buying car insurance.  If your car is damaged, the auto repair shop will not start on repairs until you pay your deductible.  The chances are low that you will have an accident, but if you have one and you don’t have the money to pay the shop, you will be without your car for months.

You should always know the most important features when buying car insurance.  If you are not sure about what some insurance jargon means, you can go to the state department web page in your state for car insurance.  There you can usually find a list of common insurance terms and definitions.  Some auto insurance companies also publish insurance guides on their websites.  Make sure you have the right amount of coverage that is appropriate for your insurance needs.

For US readers, you can look up Los Angeles Car Insurance. Los Angeles Car Insurance provides a lot of infos on tips on how to buy car insurance. Or call their 1-800-475-6840 tol free number for consultation.

Medical Alert System

This is a paid post written by me for Phoenix Medical Alert System. Phoenix Medical Alert is a North American Company that provides medical alarm for elderly patients to help them maintain independence while staying at home alone.

Phoenix Medical Alert has two key mechanical components; the base unit and the personal pendent or bracelet. The base unit contains a voice amplifier allowing you to communicate with a 911 Emergency Operator from any room in your house. The medical alert also has a large emergency button. The personal device (necklace/pendant or bracelet) is the mobile button that travels with you wherever you go, whether you wear it your belt, your wrist, or around your neck. Pressing the necklace or bracelet button initiates the alarm process on the Phoenix Medical Alert system.

Emergency Ambulance

Pressing the button also activates the base medical alert unit’s voice amplifier and puts you in touch with the 911 Emergency Operator. The voice amplifier allows the operator to hear you from any room in your house; crucial for an emergency situation causing immobilization. Phoenix Medical Alert’s 911 operators differ from local emergency operators; having personal medical information on file, the operator can brief local first responders with any special health considerations.

The medical alert’s Emergency Operators can dispatch any first responders, including ambulance, police, or fire department, as well as notify your emergency contacts. They will use their extensive experience to determine the best course of action. Phoenix Medical Alert operates out of a national call center, and has the capability to coordinate with any first responders throughout the United States.

Cleffairy: I think it’s fair to give our folks their personal space and independence while keeping them safe with these emergency alarms.
