I have a bestie, or rather, a partner in crime who is now working as a personal trainer in a local gym. We grew up together but we’re like heaven and Earth. We’re totally different beings, but I think we complement and get along with each other just fine. After all we have been friends since we were 11 years old.

My bestie, she’s a very health conscious person. Which means, she goes to gym to work out even before she started to venture into the fitness and body building industry. While me, on the other hand, is somewhat nonchalant when it comes to health and fitness. She’s the kind who would count her calorie intakes as she eat while I don’t really care about calories. As long as the food taste good, anything goes, even if it’s unhealthy.

She could go on and on and on, talking about health supplements and why whey protein is essential in body building and fitness industry. Truthfully, I am not a bit familiar about health supplements as well as whey proteins and whatnot. I am practically illiterate when it comes to these sort of things.

And so, I looked up supplements UK where there are loads of infos on health food supplements provided.

Sculpturing and Caring for The Skin

This is not a paid post, but rather, something I would love to share with all of you out there since I’ve been talking about KAFT-1 and their products these days. I believe it’s only justified that I let you folks know whether their products is good or not, since I have been talking so much about KAFT-1 these days. 😀

I may sound vain, but I’ve come to realize that I am not growing any younger, and before I knew it,I would be going around looking like an old, frail grandmother if I didn’t take care of myself.

It’s not that I mind aging. After all, I do believe in aging gracefully. But, I hate to think that with aging, there are things that will be taken away from me. I don’t want to be turned into a shrew while I can preserve and hold onto my youth a little bit longer. I am 25, going on 26. I should start taking care of myself now, before I started to look way into my 30s and my 40s.

Men are visual creature, you see. Sometimes, they do prefer beauty to brains. Don’t you men dare to deny this. How many of you could actually resist from falling into the charms of those sweet little things who bares more flesh than they should? How many of you could actually resist?

I’ve seen many of those visual creature, and hence, being a married woman, a little bit of brain and beauty wouldn’t do any harm. Besides, married women should not neglect their beauty just because they’re married with children. Beauty and brain combine ought to keep men in their place where they belong: With their wife and their kids, not on the office table, or in even in the car, making out with some…some females who sells their body and dignity for a living or for the sheer fun of wrecking someone’s marriage!

Since I couldn’t afford expensive skincare regime due to financial restriction, I start off with KAFT-1. They are quite affordable… and yes, rather effective as well.

Some of you have left a comment and asked me about both Kaft-1 Anti-Ageing Youthful Effect White O2 and Kaft-1 Perfect V-Shaper, and whether they are worth the money.

Read on. I will tell you whether they are worth the money or not.

Kaft-1 Anti-Ageing Youthful Effect White O2

I’ve tried this one. First, I cleansed my face thoroughly with my cleanser to scrub off all grimes and unseen particles on my face with for maximum effect. Then, I gently remove the mask from the pouch and placed the 3D mask on my face. After making sure that it’s covers my entire face, I left it on my face for about 25-30 minutes. Actually I’m supposed to leave it on on for just 15-20 minutes, but the mask feels so nice on my skin that it actually made me fall asleep. (Yes, the mask actually relaxes me).

Realizing that I’m not supposed to keep it too long on my face, I removed the mask from my face after  that, and wait for a about 1 minute or so for proper drying and maximum absorption. I rinsed off, and looked at myself in the mirror, and I was absolutely amazed that my skin actually looks way fresher. Not only that, my skin tone actually looks one tone fairer. The product is incredible. It works, even with just one usage, and I daresay with  constant usage, I might be able to look in my 20s for quite a long time after all.


Kaft-1 Perfect V-Shaper

Kaft-1 Perfect V-Shaper, a product that I had my eyes on from the very beginning. I practically ripped the foil open so that I could use it and see f they’re capable of performing miracles.

Before using this Kaft-1 Perfect V-Shaper, as usual, I washed my face thoroughly and cleansed it with my cleanser. It’s rule no 1 in the skincare world. Never ever use any mask or moisturizers without cleansing the face beforehand. Without cleansing, there would be no maximum effect.

Then, I took the mask and examined it properly to see whether it’s the right or left side. The mask is in the shape of half moon, you see, and I’m supposed to hang it on on of  my ear and stretch if on my jaw line and cheeks and hang it on another ear for the pulling and sculpturing effect.

I didn’t fall asleep while using this product, however, as there’s heating sensation on my jaws and cheeks while I was using it. I did not worry, though, as this product is a sculpturing/face shaper product. It is supposed to feel that way. If I didn’t felt that, I guess that is when I should worry because the product wouldn’t be effective and genuine.

Anyway, having removed the mask after about 40 minutes and dealing with the remaining extract, I looked into the mirror, and was rather impress that my skin not only feels a bit tighter, but it looks a bit refined too.

Apparently, the product does work wonder.

Dry Eyes

They include:

  • Age – dry eye is a part of the natural aging process. The majority of people over age 65 experience some symptoms of dry eyes.
  • Gender – women are more likely to develop dry eyes due to hormonal changes caused by pregnancy, the use of oral contraceptives, and menopause.
  • Medications – certain medicines, including antihistamines, decongestants, blood pressure medications and antidepressants, can reduce the amount of tears produced in the eyes.
  • Medical conditions – persons with rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes and thyroid problems are more likely to have symptoms of dry eye.
  • Environmental conditions – exposure to smoke, wind and dry climates can increase tear evaporation resulting in dry eye symptoms. Failure to blink regularly, such as when staring at a computer screen for long periods of time, can also contribute to drying of the eyes.
  • Other factors – long term use of contact lenses can be a factor in the development of dry eyes.

So how do we prevent eyes from drying?

  • Adding tears – Mild cases of dry eyes can often be managed using over-the-counter artificial tear solutions. These can be used as often as needed to supplement natural tear production. Preservative-free artificial tear solutions are recommended because they contain fewer additives that could further irritate the eyes. However, some people may have persistent dry eyes that don’t respond to artificial tears alone. Additional steps need to be taken to treat their dry eyes.
  • Conserving tears – An additional approach to reducing the symptoms of dry eyes is to keep natural tears in the eyes longer. This can be done by blocking the tear ducts through which the tears normally drain. The tear ducts can be blocked with tiny silicone or gel-like plugs that can be removed, if needed. A surgical procedure to permanently close tear ducts can also be used.
  • Increasing tear production – Prescription eye drops that help to increase production of tears can be recommended by your optometrist, as well as omega-3 fatty acid nutritional supplements.
  • Treatment of the contributing eyelid or ocular surface inflammation – Prescription eye drops or ointments, warm compresses and lid massage, or eyelid cleaners may be recommended to help decrease inflammation around the surface of the eyes.

Thomas Nelson Publishers has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book as part of their BookSneeze.com bloggers book review program. I was not required to write a positive review, and therefore, the review is 100% my honest opinion.

I just received Love on A Dime today, and have been anticipating the arrival of this book in my mailbox for quite some time now.

I have to admit, I was captivated by the beautiful cover, and so, I quickly flipped through, and in less than 2 hours, I finished reading Love on A Dime by Cara Lynn James.

Love on a Dime is about Lillian Westbrook. She’s unlucky in love and is in her late teens. She finds herself still single at twenty-five and in 1899, she is practically an old maid.

Lillian has secretly developed a career for herself by penning dime novels under the name Fannie Cole. Earning her own money is social suicide in and of itself, but doing it writing dime novels makes it worse, even though the novels she writes are moral and encouraging. So Lilly carefully hides her secret from her wealthy suitor, her family, and her friends.

Then enter her former suitor, Jackson Grail who arrives to spend the summer with her family in Newport, Rhode Island, and he has just purchased the publishing house that publishes Fannie Cole’s books.

To make matters worse, Jackson is determined to discover the true identity of Fannie Cole, his top author. Lilly is forced to make choices to keep the peace within her family and maintain her family’s social standing.

Secret identity and the thrill of secret romance is thrown together in this book. This book is not just another romance novel, but much more than just plain summer romance. It is an historical romance and incorporates passages from the Bible. This book may be a typical romance book, but the biblical messages were wonderful.

I highly recommend this book to those who are soul searching and those who are seeking not only to believe in love, but in God once again. Love on A Dime is a good, lighthearted read with wonderful messages and revelation. Thumbs up for it: both for the beautiful cover, and for the wonderful contents.

I rate this 4 stars out of 5.

Medical romance and nursing uniforms

One of my most glorious moment as an author was when I was a mere 16 years old rebellious teenage girl. That was the time where I was supposed to be studying for my public examination and concentrating on my studies. However, being me, instead of studying, I daydream and write instead.

One may wonder…what could a 16 years old write? Isn’t she supposed to be studying or busy having a crush on male specimens her age? Well… I was supposed to be studying and busy having crushes on boys my age back then, but I wasn’t quite the same as everyone else. I was different. Very different, and being different in my dictionary would meant, having completed 34 mini novella in a year. How exactly did I accomplish that?

I daresay it was hormones that flames up my imaginations into a hyperdrive, and being someone who could not stand idle, I penned them down instead of letting them go to waste.

I used be fascinated with the genre Medical Romance. One of my first unpublished novella back then in the year 2000, entitled ‘Saving Heartbeats’ was a Medical Romance filled with handsome doctors with smart looking Lab Coats. They were strong characters with finely chiseled figure whom I constantly portrayed as a pillar of strength to the patients and families whose heart and soul were almost broken as a result of illness or disease that threatens to take their loved ones away from them.

The doctors in my novels are often spirited and passionate about what they do and more often than not, I tend to shape them into a workaholic who neglected many aspects of humanity such as their own family as well as their love life.

But have no fear, the author (reads: Me) is a hopeless romantic. There’s always young female doctors walking around in their Nursing Scrubs during their rounds, ready not to only save their patients’ lives, but also to heal heartbreaks and put those workaholic, almost robotic doctors back into one piece when they finally shatter from exhaustion and sheer sadness for not being able to save every single patients that came to them.

2000 was a very fruitful year, and I would give anything to have endless energy and imagination like I had during that year and write Medical Romance again. But for now, I could only imagine Dr. Alexander Summers and Dr. Victoria Kincaid wearing the uniforms above while saving lives of their patients as well as struggle to deal with their own angst and misery as not only doctors, but as human.


Cleffairy: Writing Medical Romance was very energy consuming, as such genre tend to exhaust you when you’re really into it. I am not talking about intimacy or cheap passion or endless research on illness that’s involved here, but the human aspect of Medical Romance where authors tend to drown in their creation and feels the misery of their characters when they’re at their most vulnerable state-authors had to deal with loss and angst too, you see. Somehow, I’m not sure if I’m really cut for writing Medical Romance right now.
