A Day at Sungei Wang Plaza

It’s been awhile since I last went on my crazy Shophaholic mode in malls since COVID-19 pandemic strike. I used to hangout in malls from the time the malls opens it’s door to the time the mall closes. Yep. I was THAT fond of shopping. However, for some period of time, shopping in malls no longer have an appeal to me. To be honest, I was terribly traumatized by all the brainwashing stuff that happened during lockdown period-where they practically stuffed into your brain on how dangerous it is to be in the crowds and stuff and I had nasty anxiety and nervous breakdown whenever I’m in public. I only got better last year after my late MIL’s passing where I was slapped with the notion that; Covid or not Covid, you’ll die regardless, so why live in fear all the time? I shouldn’t let the fear-mongering gets to me and control my life. I started to heal from the global fear-mongering trauma and decided to slowly go out and be social again. I started doing outdoor stuff like practicing martial arts, going on scuba dives and mermaiding.Despite the fact that I was going out again, I still avoided malls and enclosed area. But I’ll be honest. As much as I’m now comfortable with online shopping, it’s not really as gratifying as physical shopping in the mall. When I shop in the mall, I get all the ASMR sensation; the sight, the touch, the smell, and it makes me feel so good.Speaking of feeling good, I’ve recently had a feel good experience at Sungei Wang Plaza. Can you believe it? I’m finally back with my Shophaholic Extraordinaire mode and spent the whole day shopping and having fun at Sungei Wang. The Raya deco is up and it’s really amazing. They’ve set up a kampung in the midst of a paddy field and it reminds me of my hometown in Kedah.Part of the Raya deco includes a traditional games section and provides interactive spot for shoppers to play traditional games like congkak, batu seremban and many more.I find this very heartwarming as occasionally I will spot some kids playing over there. It’s certainly nice to see the kids of this generation playing with each other instead of their phones.Raya deco aside. What did I do over there for the entire day? Well, I spent my day shopping for Raya makeover. First, I visited the Optical street at G-Level at Sungei Wang. This is where you can find loads of optical shops selling specs and eyewear stuff at a very competitive price. It’s high time for me to upgrade my spec’s power. I was spoiled for choices and it was quite hard to make decisions on which shop I should make my specs with. After browsing for awhile, I ended up at Nice Eyework at G-117.Nice Eyework is currently having a great promo of RM40 and RM65 for spec’s frame and lenses. It’s a very affordable price, if you ask me. This price is applicable to certain range of lense’s power, though. Those with the power of 600+ and more would require abit of a top-up. This is because the higher power you require, the more expensive the lenses are.Got my eyes checked, and discovered that my power has increased from 400&500 to 525&625. I’ve already expected an increase in power as my current specs is already giving me blur vision whenever I wear them, so there’s no surprise here. It sucks. I totally blamed the Covid lockdown and my emo-Kdrama binging on this. The increase of screen time has contributed to this.I had a blast trying on some on.After browsing for awhile, I settled with this one, and as promised in their banner ads, it’s ready for collection in just 40minutes.This costs me RM145. Still inexpensive as my lenses are an upgraded version and the specs came with a clip-on sunglass lenses. What do you think? I feel that this is a tad too big for my face but it’s pretty cool when I clipped on the sunglass lenses. Made me feel like a supermodel.Next stop is the MinNature Malaysia. If you want to go for a Cuti-cuti Malaysia but on a very tight budget and time restrictions this is exactly where you should head over to.MinNature Malaysia is a miniature gallery located in Sungei Wang. It features miniature models of famous Malaysian landmarks and buildings, diorama of lifestyle and iconic Malaysian food. This is where you can visit interesting touristy attractions in all states of Malaysia in just a a few hours. Some of the tourists attractions in Malaysia in miniature artworks.A showcasing of Malaysian food culture in tiny artworks.I have nothing but respect for those who made this. These artwork are really exquisite.Every artwork tells a very interesting story. So do take your time to read up the descriptions of each artwork when you’re there, okay?MinNature Malaysia is located at JUMPA@Sungei Wang, Level 1, and is opened from 10am-10pm. You may check their website here HERE for ticket pricing and stuff. After playing tourist at MinNature Malaysia, I hopped over to Watsons. They’re having this fantastic Rahsia Gaya Raya campaign where they’re offering price slashes up to 50% off, and if you’re a Watsons card member, you’re entitled to special member’s price and it’s stackable on top of those discounts.I spent about an hour browsing.Spotted some good deals in the Hair Colouring&Styling section, and grabbed some hair dyes and haircare products. My hair is in a sorry mess after all the scuba diving and frequent mermaiding that I’ve been doing for the past few months. The pool’s chlorine is not exactly the kindest on anyone’s hair, and that includes mine. I’m due for some hair care time at a salon. Sadly, with my hectic schedule these days, I no longer have time to sit in a hair salon to get myself a makeover. This would be the next best thing, I guess. I’ll just DIY my own haircut and treatments. For those who are prepping for upcoming Hari Raya, you might want to check out awesome Raya goodies and fabulous traditional clothes at Sungei Wang Plaza’s Mew Market located at the Main Entrance. This Raya Bazaar will be ongoing from 3 March till 1 May 2023, Concourse Floor where you can shop for traditional Raya clothing, Kuih Raya, Raya decoration, souvenirs and more.I wanted to buy some cookies, but it’s still early Ramadan as of the visit, and I wouldn’t wanna stock these up at home. You see, I lack self control. Raya cookies and tidbits and would have been long gone before Raya if I were to get them now, so I’d be making a revisit soon to get my hands on these.I haven’t been walking much since lockdown, and my feet were already showing signs of cramping by the time it’s time to end my shopping spree.Last stop is at Kekatoo Restaurant for breaking fast session with my media friends and lovely children from Pertubuhan Pembangunan Insan Darussalam Malaysia. As part of Sungei Wang Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental, Social and Governance initiative, these children were invited for a day of shopping and fun in Sungei Wang before the buka puasa session at Kekatoo.During their visit, they had a blast shopping and participating in games and fun batik colouring workshops.Things have been so hectic for me where work, scuba diving and mermaiding is concerned that this is the first buka puasa invitation that I’ve accepted among many that was extended to me during Ramadan. I feel really bad, honestly. But it is as it is. I need to accept that my life is longer the same as before the pandemic. If anything, it’s really nice to finally be back on my crazy Shophaholic Extraordinaire mode. It really feels good to be able to spend a whole day in the mall again.
Sungei Wang Plaza is currently having a Hari Raya campaign. The 5 Best Luxury Sneaker Brands in the World Today

In this day and age, almost anything you can think of can exist in luxury form; from ready meals to bleach, there definitely isn’t a shortage of luxury items on the market! One of the items that does stand out on the market is the invention of the luxury sneaker. These once casual items have been transformed by some of the top designers in the fashion industry, which has allowed us to dress comfortably while maintaining a fancy, trendy image. Although the high streets are failing, high-end brands continue to thrive. Gucci, Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton sales continue to soar, which proves that today’s generation is happy to invest in this premium to maintain a great image and the luxury sneaker is in the middle of it all. Which one do you go for? Well, we are here to help with that.

Balenciaga

This brand has an interesting history, yet supplies us with trainers for the future. Balenciaga is almost a century old, but its innovative designs continue to shock the world. The most iconic trainer of this Spanish fashion house footwear is the oversized Triple S sneaker. They are known as the king of the chunky trainer trend.

Common Projects

Common Projects is an easy to notice brand because on the heel of these crisp, instantly recognizable sneakers is a gold foil style code stamp. Each code is unique, signifying the size, color and code of the shoe. This little detail puts this American-Italian label in the spotlight. These sneakers can be seen on the feet of celebrities, like Alexander Skarsgard and Drake.

Gucci

Gucci is considered to be one of the world’s biggest trendsetters. The most popular Gucci sneakers have to be the low-top white Ace sneakers. These either have the iconic bee that represents the brand emblems on it or a snake that sits in the green, gold and red Gucci colorway. Every Gucci shoe is versatile, matching with all kinds of outfits. Get yourself a pair at SSENSE.com if you want to see the full collection before you buy.

Jigsaw

If you enjoy rocking the smart casual look, then a pair of luxury sneakers by Jigsaw are perfect for you. This brand was founded in the 1970’s in Brighton. Jigsaw’s signature low-tops, made in Portugal from 100% leather, are modest and timeless as they boast gunmetal eyelets and a hardy rubber sole. These inexpensive kicks offer a high street price with an upmarket design.

Saint Laurent

Most people associate Saint Laurent with black leather boots and fitted leather jackets, however, this French fashion house is much more versatile than that. Saint Laurent has produced edgy, decadent trainers, that have the brand name scrawled across their classic low-top sneakers. If you want to make more of a statement, then take a look at their block panel adorned hi-tops.

When you do your research, you will realize that many top brands have their own line of fancy shoes. As you can see, some of the brands you would least expect do have some fantastic looking luxury sneakers to get your feet stuck into.

Adidas to Power Up Activewear Collections with Adicolor FW19

image

One of adidas Originals’ most iconic and longest-running apparel collections returns for FW19 again — the adicolor collection, offering a comprehensive range for men and women, all in the series’ distinctive color palette.

Long-established as an iconic hijacked heritage collection from adidas Originals, the adicolor collection renders essential sportswear pieces in distinctive blocked color combinations. This season, adicolor takes inspiration from natural spectrums of light and color most commonly observed in rainbows. As a result, adicolor FW19 offers an essential adidas wardrobe of the six classic sport colors that pay homage to the kaleidoscopic colors of the rainbow; Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Violet.

In men’s, the adicolor collection offers essential adidas pieces such as shorts, jerseys, t-shirts, outerwear and accessories, most notably the SST WB and 3-Stripe HZ jackets, while a new premium iteration of the brand’s iconic Firebird Tracksuit offers the two-piece tracksuit in 7 unique colors for men.

For the women’s offer, this same approach is followed, applying the adicolor palette to pieces such as swimsuits, sweatshirts, track pants and accessories including socks, baseball caps and waist bags. Branding hits in the form of large Trefoil logo graphics and contrasting 3-Stripe mark finish each piece, while a women’s classic Firebird Tracksuit completes the picture.

The adicolor FW19 collection released worldwide on July 11 2019.

YFS Raya Sale Serendah RM20, betul ke YFS Concept Store SCAM?

image

So, I caught a glimpse of something shady is going on at YFS Concept Store during this Raya festive season somewhere on social media a couple of days ago, but I didn’t manage to read the entire posting. It was gone before I knew it and I nearly forgotten about it until I passed by the YFS Concept Store outlet at The Mines Shopping Mall when I was doing my Raya shopping, and so, I decided to snoop a little bit. There might be some juicy scoop. Festive season scamming is not something unheard of. Some stores put up “Sale”, “Discount”  or even “Buy 1 Free 1” signs and play around with pricing and such, misleading the consumers to think that the items that they are selling are cheap but the fact is otherwise.

image

A glance at the YFS Concept Store The Mines Shopping Centre from the outside. Looks pretty much normal. YFS Concept Store is a store that sells trendy clothing suitable for the entire family. I saw customers going in with their children in tow in excitements. That’s when it gets really suspicious. Something must be really going on here at YFS Concept Store.

image

Apparently there’s a huge raya sale going on. Banners screaming “SALE” are  hung everywhere in the outlet and I was getting really curious. People are practically snatching things up and making beeline to the cash register!

image

Apparently they are offering clothing items from as low as RM10-RM20. I didn’t believe it at first cuz the store actually sells high quality and trendy clothings. I was thinking that it must be really a SCAM and there must be some hidden condition where you have to make certain purchases or something before being able to buy items at that price. There must be a catch. But after inspecting closely, there’s no catch, and I was in awe. I practically go “OMG! Biar betul! Murah giler baju kat sini!”.

image

There are a lot of choice of clothing here at YFS Concept Store.

image

Kids clothing being sold from RM7 above is spotted

image

There are even bundled up sale promo where you get more value for your ringgit when you buy more items.

image

There are plenty of stylish clothes for you to indulge your inner fashionista with.

image

Anyway, I have to shamelessly admit that I decided to do my Raya shopping there and then, considering that I haven’t bought any Raya outfits yet. I have been looking forward to visiting and “beraya” and attending open houses this coming Aidilfitri and I have nothing nice to wear in my wardrobe. Most of them are old and kinda out of style.
This deal is too good to be passed on and I immediately got into my bargain hunter mode.

image

Now, I have quite a tight budget, considering it’s totally an unplanned shopping session and it’s the middle of the month. My walking ATM machine a.k.a my husband was at work and my paycheque haven’t come in yet. Obviously I don’t want to spend more than RM200 on just my raya clothings, and so I decided to go with the bargain corner and picked some clothes. There are plenty of interesting finds. Nothing I picked were over RM19. Check out what I found in the RM10 and RM19 section:

image

Lovely blouse white blouse (RM19). This was love at first sight. I thought it emits the aura of innocence and makes me look rather angelic.

image

Thin Yellow Hoodie (RM10). The striking yellow caught my eyes and I knew that I got to make this the new permanent residence in my wardrobe.

image

Played mixed and match a little, what do you think? This mix and match outfit costs only RM29 (White assymetrical blouse-RM19, Thin Yellow Hoodie-RM10). Such a steal. You wouldn’t get such an interesting OOTD anywhere else for such an affordable price, I assure you.

image

Black and grey blouse (RM19). This blouse is the modest type. Just the perfect casual wear for raya.

image

Lovely chiffon top (RM19). Another wonderful piece that will make great companion during raya open houses or visiting.

image

Lovely black blouse (RM10). This simple black blouse will no doubt look as if it’s an outfit worth hundreds of ringgit should you pair it with tiny pieces of earrings or necklaces.

image

Striking red blouse, RM19. Much love and energy, this one. I like how it made me stand out effortlessly.

image

Ruffle tops RM10, perfect for a casual sunny day out.

image

Lavender coloured cardigan (RM10). Made from thin and airy fabric, this piece offers sweet and innocent look and is a perfect bikini or swimwear cover up should you go for a beach trip.

image

Cute pink shirt with watermelon printed on it (RM19). I took this simply because it’s pink and it has my favourite fruit on it. What do you think? Do I look cute in pink?

image

A flourescent coloured long-sleeved shirt (RM10). Another eye catchy piece that caught my fancy. It has “Ms.Perfect” written on it. How can I not have such perfection that tells the world that I am perfect? Definitely my must have.

image

Comfy baby-T (RM10). I picked this because of it’s fabric. It’s so soft, comfy and airy. Perfect to be worn during sunny weather.

image

Knitted top (RM10). This knitted top is one of my favourite finds. The colour is really striking. A mood booster, this one. It makes me feel so young and energetic.

image

Funky streetwear shirt (RM10). Another interestingly fashionable piece of clothing that I found at the bargain section. Looks cool on me, don’t you think? It shows off my shoulder blade pretty nicely.

Anyway, I got all these looks for just RM175. All things considered, I think it’s really worth my money:

image

Modest and demure look for hari raya visiting.

image

Casual sweet and feminine look for special occasions.

image

Young, cheerful and funky clothing as daily casual wear.

image

I was definitely a happy camper with all of my purchases. No such thing as scamming the customers here. What you see is what you get, and there’s no catch to their discounted and sale items. And you know what’s sweeter? YFS Concept Store is also giving away RM50 cash voucher for every purchase above RM200. You may use the voucher at any YFS Concept Store for your next visit. Awesome, right? So, what are you waiting for? Head over to your nearest YFS Concept Store and indulge your inner fashionista. The Raya sale will be ongoing until 9th June 2019.

The Best of Kelantanese Delicacies at Fatimah Food Cafe, Kuala Lumpur

Craving for Kelantanese food? There are plenty of places in Kuala Lumpur that serves Kelantanese cuisines or delicacies from the East Coast of Malaysia but if you are looking for those that are not only authentic but decently priced, there’s one place that I would highly recommend you to go to; the Fatimah Food Cafe.

image

Founded by Datuk Abd Ghani Salleh and his wife, the cafe was named in honour of his beloved mother-in-law. This restaurant has been in operation for the past three years and has received encouraging response, especially from Menara MARA tenants and nearby offices.

image

Conveniently located at Level 4 of Busana@Menara MARA (Primiera Hotel Kuala Lumpur) in Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur, the cafe focuses on serving the best of Kelantanese delicacies.

image

Their menu is pretty impressive, and here’s highlighting what’s worth your calories over there; Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Dagang, Laksam and Nasi Lemak.

image

Nasi Kerabu is one of the many popular dish which is mostly served at the East Coast of Malaysia. Literally translated as rice salad and this dish usually comes with blue coloured rice and all sort of ulams (Malay herbs and vegetables) and meat floss with a touch of the budu and sambal on top of it. The correct way to enjoy the Nasi Kerabu is by mixing the rice and the condiments of ‘ulam’, sauce and whatever meat floss/coconut floss together well as if you would do with a Western Salad before eating them up. This is simply a divine and wholesome treat that actually helps you cleanse your palate and helps you with your disgestion, but not everyone will like the minty and herbal scents that came from the ‘ulam’. I used to hate this rice dish as a child, but as I grew older, I come to appreciate the taste and the novel experience and crave for a good plate of Nasi Ulam Kelantan every now and then. The one served in Fatimah Food Cafe is one of the best Nasi Kerabu in Kuala Lumpur I’ve tasted so far.

image

Nasi Dagang is a Malay traditional dish that consists of rice steamed in coconut milk, fish curry and acar (pickled cucumber and carrots) on the side. It is a well-known breakfast food in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia and also popular in southern Thai provinces like Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. I can’t really tell you how this dish taste like as I gave this a miss during my visit to Fatimah Food Cafe in favour of their Nasi Kerabu, but seeing my friends polishing their Nasi Dagang off from their plate assures me that the Nasi Dagang should be good as well.

image

Laksam, also known as Laksei in Kelantan and Laksang in Terengganu is a type of rolled noodles dish that originates from Kelantan and Terengganu. Laksam noodles made from rice flour and eaten with creamy gravy. In comparison to other varieties of traditional noodles in Malaysia, Laksam is pretty much a rare find, especially if you are living in Kuala Lumpur. Fatimah Food Cafe serves pretty good Laksam; with flavourful and creamy gravy that tasted so rich on the palate, so if you are craving for a nice bowl of authentic Laksam, Fatimah Food Cafe is definitely the place that you’ll need to drop by.

image

Nasi Lemak, the all time favourite Malaysian coconut milk rice dish is also available here at the cafe for those who prefers something that they are familar with instead of the Kelantanese delicacies.

image

Assorted tidbits and snacks like traditional Malay cookies, meat floss and bottled sambals are also sold here at Fatimah Food Cafe.

image

Hot Honey Lemon Drink is highly recommended beverage over here. Sweet, sourish and soothing, the concoction also provides nourishment for the body and is especially great to combat heaty body as well as sore throat.

image

What’s interesting about Datuk Abd Ghani Salleh is that apart from being passionate about food, he is also a huge fan of travel and fashion. Wishing to share his interest with likeminded people, Datuk Abd Ghani Salleh opens the First Time Around boutique. The boutique is located just next to Fatimah Food Cafe, at level 4 of Busana@Menara MARA. According to Datuk Abd Ghani Salleh, traveling overseas is exciting and he will usually take the opportunity to bring back fancy and rare accessories from abroad to sell in the First Time Around Boutique.

image

The boutique is unique and different from other competiting boutiques in Busana@Menara MARA. First Time Around offers tees in fanciful prints and daring patterns that cannot be found elsewhere. Women’s bags are also sold here at reasonable prices. The range of leather bag is priced between RM100-300 and PVC / PU bag is below RM100.

image

Visiting the boutique with my son after our meal at Fatimah Food Cafe proves to be highly rewarding. These are our fashionable finds, beautiful tees in black with floral prints and artful patterns.

image

What do you think? Isn’t this cool? The T- shirt price is pretty much affordable and starts from RM40 per piece.

image

I have always been a glutton and a little vain pot, and being able to indulge in great food and fashion at the same time is like having the best of both worlds and I highly recommend this place not only for foodies but for fashion junkies as well.

Makeover Apps to Revolutionize Beauty Industry in Malaysia

Beauty industry in Malaysia is growing like mushrooms after the rain and is increasingly becoming an important sector that is contributing to the country’s revenue. But when supplies is more than demand, that’s where competition started to become aggressively difficult and growth, stagnant. Realizing this, a group of prominent beauty industry leaders in Malaysia decided to join hands together and create a mobile apps known as MAKEOVER in effort to further empower the industry players.

image

MAKEOVER was recently launched in Wisma Selangor Dredging, Kuala Lumpur and was officiated by MAKEOVER co-founding team comprising of Datin Winnie Loo (founder of A Cut Above), Yvone Yap (founder of Sense & Style Beauty Academy), Derick Ooi (Co-Founder & Managing Director of Hairstory International), Jamie Sie (founder of JGA Grooming Academy), Kiro Tan (founder of KOLS) and witnessed by Tan Sri Richard Chiam and Puan Sri Louise. The apps in question is supported by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Go-eCommerce.

image

According to the team of co-founders, the MAKEOVER apps is an innovation that aims to gather beauty industry players in Malaysia under one roof and provide the very best of beauty-related service providers to the consumers. When asked what’s their vision for the said apps, they hope that the apps will not only benefit industry players and encourage further growth and healthy competition in the beauty industry, but help the consumers to make a better choice when it comes to their beauty, wellness and grooming needs as well.

image

The apps will be tentatively available for download by both consumers and industry players on Playstore and Appstore by the end of December 2018.

image

MAKEOVER apps will be offering a listing of beauty and grooming service providers under one roof for consumers to pick from. Among the service providers that MAKEOVER apps users can look forward to are; optometrists, dental care services, manicurists, masseurs, pet groomer, beautician services and of course, makeup artists and stylists.

image

One of the greatest feature MAKEOVER app users can look forward to is the 24 hours booking service straight to your doorsteps, regardless of your location. This is basically a Grab apps for the beauty industry where instead of delivering a driver to you, it will deliver various kinds of beauty and grooming service provider to your doorsteps instead.

The MAKEOVER apps will definitely be a game changer and shape the future of the beauty industry in Malaysia.

In depth review on the apps will be featured soon. In the meantime, do check the links below for more news and quick updates on MAKEOVER apps updates:

Malaysia Hosts The First Ever Mrs Tourism Queen International Pageant

For the first time, in the historical milestone of beauty pageant, Malaysia will host the first ever Mrs Tourism Queen International Pageant right here in the very heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur today. This inaugural auspicious Grand Final event takes place in the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
image

The pageant witnesses 28 beauty queens from the world over, which include countries from Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Oceania competing against one another for the coveted Mrs Tourism Queen International 2018 crown.

“Beauty pageants have proven to help boost the tourism industry around the world. We at Sentinel Pageant is proud to be given this opportunity and organise this first ever edition of Mrs Tourism Queen International Pageant,” says Jenet Foo, Founder and Director of Sentinel Pageant.

“We like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and sponsors and participants for their support,” she adds.

Top Wedding Planner in Putrajaya: Ambassador Putrajaya by Hanana Group Sdn. Bhd.

What’s the standard age to get married for ladies these days? I’m not sure what’s the standard age for a lady to enter holy matrimony, but I got married at a pretty young age. I was just 18 when I married my college senior, now husband. We’re pretty much in love with each other and blessed with a son who is now already in his teens. 18 is quite young to be married and to be parents by the modern society’s standard. It would be an outright lie if I were to tell you that we had blessings from everyone. We honestly didn’t. We actually eloped. The solemnization was just between us and close friends. When my husband and I took our vows, we did not don any bridal attire nor there was a grand reception to celebrate afterwards. We didn’t care much for frilly things. What matters was that our union was legal in the eye of law and God.

People around us told us to our face that we are making a huge mistake and simply ruining our lives by tying ourselves down so early in life, but personally speaking, we did what was right for us and considering the situation, things turned out great and I kinda like being in my early 30s with a teenage son who in tow; whom is always mistaken as my kid brother instead of my son. Unlike most of the friends my age who just got married and stuck with all the headache of raising a baby, I’m already at the advance stage where I’m enjoying my life to the fullest where I actually do enjoyable things with my son like traveling and stuff instead of having to do things for him.

To date, my husband and I have been married for 15 years, going on 16 years. My only wistfulness is that we don’t actually have a beautiful wedding picture taken together. It’s not that we don’t have many beautiful pictures together…it’s just that we don’t have one in wedding attires and I guess I’m just being a woman deep down by feeling that way.

Anyway, let’s put my wistfulness aside. I don’t know when I’ll be able to take a beautiful wedding picture with my husband. We’ve talked about it but never really got around to do it. Maybe one day, we will. I don’t know. Whatever will be, will be. What matters is that we’re still happily in love with each other.

Weddings are generally a stressful affair for both bride and grooms. It is not just about the bride and groom but about pleasing the entire family and perhaps some 600 other people whom you barely knows; because let’s face it, the parents of the bride and grooms will be inviting their friends and entire clans to the wedding too. This is the ugly facts about weddings. My husband and I may have eloped and skipped all these headache, but I know for certain that this is something that most couples will choose to endure.

But don’t worry, people. We are not living in the dark ages. There are plenty wedding planners around. Here’s one place that’s offering a one stop wedding solution for newlyweds; Ambassador Putrajaya.
