How do you spell parking in KL? It’s F.U.C.K.I.N.G!

Fuck, fuck us more, Malaysian government!

This is a clipping taken from Guang Ming Daily. And yes, the fucking machines are now proudly installed all around KL( including my office where the parking lots used to be a free parking space), and still growing like mushrooms after the rain. Hooray! Now KL and Klang Valley citizens are supposed to pay these heavily painted  whore Rm0.50 per hour. Good to fuck, right? Whether you like it or not, you still have to pay, unless you want those DBKL pimp to issue you a fucking ticket costing you Rm30 per ticket.

I shall not complain if the parking lot was a paid parking lot before. But the government decided to allow their DBKL pimp to install these whores after the fuel raise. I feel like being robbed!  Most parking space in KL and Klang Valley used to be free and now we’re supposed to pay for it. I wonder where the money goes?  My office cannot be reached by taking public transport, so don’t you people dare ask me to take public transport, and now, I need to pay Rm90 monthly just for parking my car in the middle of scorching sun without any security guards. What a good fucking experience! I wonder what’s the next interesting thing the government can come up with to thoroughly fuck us. They certainly never run out of idea on how to arouse us.

The Practice of Wearing Purdah

I did not write the article below. A reader emailed this article to me in answer to my question, why do women wear purdah/burqa or any other sort of covering to cover up their bodies. Thought I’d share with you readers. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________

My mother used purdah. She wore a burqa with a net cover in front of the face. It reminded me of the meatsafes in my grandmother’s house. One had a net door made of cloth, the other of metal. But the objective was the same: keeping the meat safe. My mother was put under a burqa by her conservative family. They told her that wearing a burqa would mean obeying Allah. And if you obey Allah, He would be happy with you and not let you burn in hellfire. My mother was afraid of Allah and also of her own father. He would threaten her with grave consequences if she didn’t wear the burqa.

She was also afraid of the men in the neighbourhood, who could have shamed her. Even her husband was a source of fear, for he could do anything to her if she disobeyed him.

As a young girl, I used to nag her: Ma, don’t you suffocate in this veil? Don’t you feel all dark inside? Don’t you feel breathless? Don’t you feel angry? Don’t you ever feel like throwing it off? My mother kept mum. She couldn’t do anything about it. But I did. When I was sixteen, I was presented a burqa by one of my relatives. I threw it away.

The custom of purdah is not new. It dates back to 300 BC. The women of aristocratic Assyrian families used purdah. Ordinary women and prostitutes were not allowed purdah. In the middle ages, even Anglo-Saxon women used to cover their hair and chin and hide their faces behind a cloth or similar object. This purdah system was obviously not religious. The religious purdah is used by Catholic nuns and Mormons, though for the latter only during religious ceremonies and rituals. For Muslim women, however, such religious purdah is not limited to specific rituals but mandatory for their daily life outside the purview of religion.

A couple of months ago, at the height of the purdah controversy, Shabana Azmi asserted that the Quran doesn’t say anything about wearing the burqa. She’s mistaken. This is what the Quran says:

“Tell the faithful women that they must keep their gaze focused below/on the ground and cover their sexual organs. They must not put their beauty and their jewellery on display. They must hide their breasts behind a purdah. They must not exhibit their beauty to anybody except their husbands, brothers, nephews, womenfolk, servants, eunuch employees and children. They must not move their legs briskly while walking because then much of their bodies can get exposed.” (Sura Al Noor 24:31)

“Oh nabi, please tell your wives and daughters and faithful women to wear a covering dress on their bodies. That would be good. Then nobody can recognise them and harrass them. Allah is merciful and kind.” (Sura Al Hijaab 33: 59)

Even the Hadis –a collection of the words of Prophet Mohammed, his opinion on various subjects and also about his work, written by those close to him– talks extensively of the purdah for women. Women must cover their whole body before going out, they should not go before unknown men, they should not go to the mosque to read the namaaz, they should not go for any funeral.

There are many views on why and how the Islamic purdah started. One view has it that Prophet Mohammed became very poor after spending all the wealth of his first wife. At that time, in Arabia, the poor had to go to the open desert and plains for relieving themselves and even their sexual needs. The Prophet’s wives too had to do the same. He had told his wives that “I give yu permission to go out and carry out your natural work”. (Bukhari Hadis first volume book 4 No. 149). And this is what his wives started doing accordingly. One day, Prophet Mohammed’s disciple Uman complained to him that these women were very uncomfortable because they were instantly recognisable while relieving themselves.

Umar proposed a cover but Prophet Mohammed ignored it. Then the Prophet asked Allah for advice and he laid down the Ayat (33:59) (Bukhari Hadis Book 026 No. 5397).

This is the history of the purdah, according to the Hadis. But the question is: since Arab men too relieved themselves in the open, why didn’t Allah start the purdah for men? Clearly, Allah doesn’t treat men and women as equals, else there would be purdah for both! Men are higher than women. So women have to be made walking prisons and men can remain free birds.

Another view is that the purdah was introduced to separate women from servants. This originates from stories in the Hadis. One story in the Bukhari Hadis goes thus: After winning the Khyber War, Prophet Mohammed took over all the properties of the enemy, including their women. One of these women was called Safia. One of the Prophet’s disciples sought to know her status. He replied: “If tomorrow you see that Safia is going around covered, under purdah, then she is going to be a wife. If you see her uncovered, that means I’ve decided to make her my servant.”

The third view comes from this story. Prophet Mohammed’s wife Ayesha was very beautiful. His friends were often found staring at her with fascination. This clearly upset the Prophet. So the Quran has an Ayat that says, “Oh friends of the prophet or holy men, never go to your friend’s house without an invitation. And if you do go, don’t go and ask anything of their wives”. It is to resist the greedy eyes of friends, disciples or male guests that the purdah system came into being. First it was applicable to only the wives of the holy men, and later it was extended to all Muslim women. Purdah means covering the entire body except for the eyes, wrist and feet. Nowadays, some women practise the purdah by only covering their hair. That is not what is written in the Hadis Quran. Frankly, covering just the hair is not Islamic purdah in the strict sense.

In the early Islamic period, Prophet Mohammed started the practice of covering the feet of women. Within 100 years of his death, purdah spread across the entire Middle East. Women were covered by an extra layer of clothing. They were forbidden to go out of the house, or in front of unknown men. Their lives were hemmed into a tight regime: stay at home, cook, clean the house, bear children and bring them up. In this way, one section of the people was separated by purdah, quarantined and covered.

Why are women covered? Because they are sex objects. Because when men see them, they are roused. Why should women have to be penalised for men’s sexual problems? Even women have sexual urges. But men are not covered for that. In no religion formulated by men are women considered to have a separate existence, or as human beings having desires and opinions separate from men’s. The purdah rules humiliate not only women but men too. If women walk about without purdah, it’s as if men will look at them with lustful eyes, or pounce on them, or rape them. Do they lose all their senses when they see any woman without burqa?

My question to Shabana and her supporters, who argue that the Quran says nothing about purdah is: If the Quran advises women to use purdah, should they do so? My answer is, No. Irrespective of which book says it, which person advises, whoever commands, women should not have purdah. No veil, no chador, no hijab, no burqa, no headscarf. Women should not use any of these things because all these are instruments of disrespect. These are symbols of women’s oppression. Through them, women are told that they are but the property of men, objects for their use. These coverings are used to keep women passive and submissive. Women are told to wear them so that they cannot exist with their self-respect, honour, confidence, separate identity, own opinion and ideals intact. So that they cannot stand on their own two feet and live with their head held high and their spine strong and erect.

Some 1,500 years ago, it was decided for an individual’s personal reasons that women should have purdah and since then millions of Muslim women all over the world have had to suffer it. So many old customs have died a natural death, but not purdah. Instead, of late, there has been a mad craze to revive it. Covering a woman’s head means covering her brain and ensuring that it doesn’t work. If women’s brains worked properly, they’d have long ago thrown off these veils and burqas imposed on them by a religious and patriarchal regime.

What should women do? They should protest against this discrimination. They should proclaim a war against the wrongs and ill-treatment meted out to them for hundreds of years. They should snatch from the men their freedom and their rights. They should throw away this apparel of discrimination and burn their burqas.

Thank you for emailing me this, Wyvern83. It does somehow enlighten me, though I don’t think it can be applied in Malaysian case. You did ask me why Malay women wears headscarves if not out of fear of god or their fathers or husbands or whatever. I’m afraid I have no absolute answer to your question.

As far as I’m concern, most Malaysian Muslim, especially Malays wears tudung for fear they will be stigmatized or boycott if they don’t do the same as the others. By wearing what others wear, that will spare them the humiliation of being different.  Schools are supposed to be neutral, but that’s not the case in Malaysia. In Malaysian schools itself, if a Malay girl doesn’t wear tudung as part of her school uniform, her peers and her teachers will give her hard time. I’ve come to an understanding that by forcing people to wear tudung doesn’t change their attitude. To me, a well behaved woman has to be shaped from her own conscience and sincerity to god, and through proper education not through forcing her to do it against her own will.  As I know, Islam teachings cannot be forced, and yet why are the authorities in Malaysia (Kelantan) are forcing people to obey Islamic teachings against their own will?

Here, I’d like to congratulate the women who managed to wear head coverings out of her own conscience and uphold the honour of her faith. And to those who are wearing just for ‘blending in’, I suggest you people behave well and not insult your religion.

Lipsticks and high heels forbidden in Kelantan

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA0nlPcnqAU&hl=en&rel=0&color1=0xe1600f&color2=0xfebd01]

Below is an article from The Star Malaysia, 24th June 2008, Tuesday. And above is a video from youtube, showing a girl who is ‘properly attired’ according to Islamic teachings screwing around. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not porn. No taking off clothes or nudity involved. Parental guide adviced.

KOTA BARU: Muslim women employees working here are forbidden to wear lipstick and high-heeled shoes to work.

This directive is contained in a municipal council circular dated May 25 and signed by its president Shafie Ismail, which has been distributed to business premises here. A check, however, found that only a few tenants had received the circular this week.

The circular stated that the directive, targeted at Muslim women employees working in food outlets and other business premises, was issued to prevent incidents like rape and illicit sex as well as to safeguard the morals and dignity of Muslim women in Kelantan.

It stated that Muslim women were forbidden to wear thick make-up, bright coloured lipstick and high-heeled shoes which made a tapping sound.

Those who insisted on wearing high-heeled shoes should choose those with rubber soles.

Attempts to contact Shafie for clarification were futile.

The directive on the wearing of lipstick and high-heeled shoes are in addition to the wearing of scarves, which should cover the chest and not be of transparent material, blouses with long sleeves, which were long and loose, as well as socks.

Those who do not adhere to the regulation can be fined up to RM500. – Bernama

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Lipsticks and high heels are forbidden in Kelantan. Women are not allowed to make themselves look pretty, but encourage to look like an old hag. What’s next? Unmarried women, widows and divorcees are to wear chastity belt until they are married? That is absurd!

I’m growing pretty wary of these kind of ignorant rules and regulation on women’s dressing code in Kelantan. These stupid men don’t use their brain to think, do they? Why not ask the women to wear ‘kain kapan’ and design something that will make them look like a dead body instead?  That ought to stop rape and ‘safeguard their dignity and moral’. Better still, just castrate the entire male population in Kelantan so that they won’t be able to have sex with anyone at all. Wouldn’t it be better? Just castrate the men. 100% guaranteed that there will be no rape cases. Why put all the blame on women when men are ought to be blame for their lust too. How about rape cases that happens at home? Most of the rape cases in Kelantan happens in the safety of the women’s home. Those incest case and stuff. How about those? How can you be sure that the Kelantanese ladies are safe at home too? How do you safeguard their moral and dignity at home?

My say on pre-marital sexual intercourse….Hello, people, it takes two to tango! If unmarried couple had too much fun with each other, do you honestly think that some headscarves will stop them from having sex? Hell no! It’ll only be served as another ‘present wrapper’ to be unwrapped! Just take a look at my previous post, ‘Tainted Titiwangsa’. I did mention that most of the Malay girls donning headscarves are the ones that’s polluting the beautiful night view at the lake garden with their various sexual antics. How do you explain that?

PUHHLEAASEEE! Telling women how to wear, what to wear won’t stop rape cases indefinitely. It’s the attitude that needs change, not their clothing. What’s the point if you creeps ask these ladies to cover up but they behave like a bitch in heat, flirting with men who’s probably sexually frustrated because of lack of exposure to sexual knowledge on how to release their sexual tension in a DIY manner?  If men are horny and needs release, they’d go ahead and rape the women anyway, no matter what the women wear.

Sex education matters. Please educate them. By not discussing the dangers of sex openly and keeping it hush hush will not help. Asking them to cover up and look like an old hag will no help too. By continuing to let the people be ignorant towards sexual issues will only intrigue them to try.

PS: I’m supposed to make a trip to Kelantan this coming hari raya for a cousin’s wedding, but I’m rather reluctant to do so. I’m definitely not looking forward to step my two feet on Kelantan soil after being mentally abused by their orthodox thinking back in 1998. I’d say, Kelantan schools implement rubbish way of teaching and most of their schools promotes homosexuality. I was a naive girl back then. Imagine how aghast I was to receive love letters from other girls my age! I almost lost my mind when I was told that it’s a typical school culture, and it’s in fact encouraged as to avoid girls from dating boys at schooling age. LOL. My family would have to drag me kicking and screaming if they want me there for my cousin’s wedding. I’m happy staying where I am. Please do not drag me to some ridiculous Arabs wannabe state. Haha.

Tainted Titiwangsa

I passed by Titiwangsa Lake Garden one night, and decided to do some cam whoring. It’s been quite some time since I went to the lake garden for some relaxation. Ever since they put up ‘The Eye on Malaysia’ ferris wheel, I find that the place is too crowded for my taste. The lake garden used to be my  favourite place to unwind during weekend noons, with horseback riding and great lush scenery.  There’s also watersport activities like kayaking and waterbike. But I guess, the place is only great and safe during daytime. I took some pictures in a rush, and drives off, because I didn’t really feel comfortable nor safe at that time.

As picturesque as it seems from afar, with glittering lights near the Eye of Malaysia compound, and reflections of various beautiful building reflecting on the lake, there are disgusting and terrifying creatures lurking in the dark, snarling, hissing and ready to hurt you if provoked. And no, I’m not attempting a horror story. This is real.

I’ve seen not only tourist or families sightseeing and taking pictures in the Lake Garden that night, but disgusting teenage couples everywhere fondling each other and making out shamelessly. Their act would probably put porn stars to shame if they decided to record their acts and post it on the net. There are some tourists and families, yes, but those disgusting teenagers overpopulate the place. ‘Mat rempit’ and ‘Minah rempit’ can be seen fondling and groping each other while sitting on their motorbike. To add salt to the wound, Titiwangsa lake garden is also a place for those bastards to gather around before starting their daily illegal motor racing. And these gangsters will give you some nasty glares if you dare to stare at them and wonders what they’re doing. I was frightened for my safety when I was there that night.  Camera flashes seems to irritate these people and my imaginations runs wild. I was so scared that I might get rob, rape, or worst, murdered if I did anything to offend these people.

They can be seen almost everywhere in the dark, behind trees, by the lake, under gazebos, everywhere! What irks me the most is the female species. Most of the girls I observed that night wrapped their head in headscarf (tudung) and clearly, they are Malay Muslims (spoke Bahasa Melayu). I’m not racist or anything, but I feel that these young ladies are insulting Islam itself by behaving this way.

Why bother donning a headscarf and cover up if you want to shamelessly make out and have sex in public? You might as well go around naked if you want to behave like a public toilet, allowing anyone to enter you, do their deeds and leave. I call that act of hypocrasy. These bitches probably go around during the day, behaving as if they are pure and pious, while he truth is that they are slutting around with males who only wants to make use of their bodies.

Don’t give me the shits that these people are married. As far as I’m concern, married couples don’t behave this way. Well, at least married women will not allowed two or more men to touch her at the same time. Married couple would at least choose a decent place to consummate their love, but these girls seems to have fun being treated that way. I had to hold my tongue from screaming “Get a room!” at these shameless teenagers.

Seeing this, I no longer wonder why so many girls visit some small and secluded clinics during the weekend, coming out looking as if blood has been drain from their faces and clutching their stomach as if their womb being ripped out of them. (I’ll find time to talk about abortion some other time. I’m gonna have to dig out some facts first. It’s been some time since I give a pro-life talk, and yes, I’m a pro-life person)

Why these people don’t find a more private place to do their stuff, is beyond my comprehension. Does it exhilarate these people to have PDAs in public? Or is it a turn on for them to get caught by religious authorities and get thrown into jail or get summonses for behaving indecently in public?

If you want to have sex so much, why not do it in a more comfortable place and less public. At least spare the tourist and young spectators of the porn videos worthy view. I don’t have any care in the world if these people decided to do their things elsewhere, but Titiwangsa Lake Garden is one of Kuala Lumpur’s main tourist attraction. Why are the authorities not doing anything about this? Clean up the place for god sake! How do you expect to generate revenues from tourism if the place lost its appeal and scares travellers away?

These are the pictures I took that night:

This a picture of The Eye on Malaysia. Beautiful as it seems, I can’t help wondering if it’s really safe, since it’s located just at the edge of the lakeshore.

Picturesque, isn’t it? Too bad, in reality it’s tainted.

Modern Bedtime Story

Once upon a time, there was a newspaper called Malaysian Today…and they tell a story of a man called Maha who owns a farm which can produce 10 apples every day.
He has 5 workers to operate the farm.
Each of them eats 1 apple daily and it is enough to keep them operating the farm normally.
The remaining 4 apples, the landlord sells them at RM10 each and he earns RM40.
He uses the RM25 to improve the farm operation and facilities.
He gives RM2.00 to each of his workers and he keeps the remaining RM5.00 as profit.
Day by day, the farm is well developed and all of the 5 workers are happy with the money they can save.

When Maha passed away and there is a new landlord, Abdul comes to continue the farm operation.
He says to the workers:” We need to improve the farm quality and redefine our way of thinking.
From now on all of you only need to pay RM1.00 for each apple you eat.
It is very cheap as the price is RM10 each outside the farm.”
The workers have no choice but to pay RM1.00 for the apple they eat daily.
Their earning decrease from RM2.00 to RM1.00 per person.
As usual, Abdul sells the 4 apples and he gets RM40.
He uses RM25 for farm improvement and pays RM10 to his 5 workers.
He gets RM5.00 as profit. On top of that, he gets another RM5.00 from the apples that he sells to his workers.
In total, he gets RM10 as profit every day.

Soon, the apple price increases to RM20 each.
The new landlord gets a higher profit as he gets RM80 for the 4 apples he sells daily.
Then, he decides to give the farming improvement contract to one of his close friend, Samy.
Samy says:”Apple cost naik, improvement cost also misti naik.”
So, the farm improvement cost increases from RM25 to RM50.
In actual, the improvement only cost RM30.
The remaining RM20, Abdul and Samy share evenly among themselves.

Now, children, let’s calculate how much Abdul gets daily:

RM10 (from farm improvement cost)
RM20 (Net profit by selling 4 apples: [Gross profit, RM80] – [Improvement cost, RM50] – [Wages RM10] = RM20)
RM5 (from selling apples to his workers)

In total, Abdul gets RM35 daily compare to RM10 initially when he takes over the farm from Maha.
His profit increases RM25 and the workers are still getting RM1.00 daily per person.
The greedy Abdul does not want to stop there.
One day, he says to his fellow workers:” You see ah, the current market price for one apple is RM20 and you are only paying RM1.
See how lucky you are! I have to SUBSIDY RM19.00 for each of the apple you buy and total I need to SUBSIDY RM95.00.
This will greatly burden the farm and we might get bankrupt if we continue like this.
In order to avoid bankruptcy, I need to increase the apple price that you buy from RM1.00 to RM1.50 and I will bear the remaining RM18.50 per apple as my subsidy to you all. ”
So, greedy Abdul adds RM2.50 to his current profit and the number becomes RM37.50.

After you have read the story, what did you learn, children? I am sure you have already understood the meaning of “SUBSIDY” given by the government. And the moral of this story is? My, my….we should take advantage when we’re able to. We’ll get richer, you know? And now, go to bed, and dream sweet things. Haha… and remember, an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.

‘Laser mouths’ leave minister speechless

This Article is taken from The Star Malaysia, 15th June 2008

ALOR STAR: Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob was left speechless at a dinner meeting after several leaders started questioning him on his call for Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir to step down as Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chairman.

The youths, most of them Umno and Belia 4B members, were at a meeting held in Sungai Petani on Friday night.

Ismail had said that it was only proper that Mohkzani relinquished his post, as he was no longer an Umno member.

Jalan Badlishah Umno Youth branch chief Ridzuan Omar questioned Ismail’s authority for making such a call.

“Who are you (Ismail) to ask Datuk Mokhzani to step down? We, the 4B Youth members, had benefited tremendously from the motoring activities mooted by Datuk Mokhzani.

“What have you (Ismail) done for the youth? We have hardly heard your name until two months ago,” he said.

Umno Kulim Hi-Tech branch Youth chief Faizal Mansor questioned why national Umno leaders were quick to jump every time former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his son Jerlun MP Datuk Mukhriz made hard-hitting statements.

“Why don’t you all listen to their constructive criticism?” he said.

Ismail left the dinner without responding to the questions.

Haha, that will teach you ministers to reflect on your own achievements and contributions to the society and economy first before opening your mouth and attempt to smudge dirt into other people’s face. I’m pleased to see that there’s still people who dares to speak up wittingly. Perhaps, hope are not lost after all. And as for Umno Kulim Hi-Tech branch Youth chief Faizal Mansor’s question, I think I can answer that.  Constructive criticism can’t be accepted well, unless people can take up the challenges and excel. People are afraid to fail. This is Malaysia. Malaysians mindsets are still yet to be changed. We’re still not looking forward and only plan for short term effects. Oh, well, I guess some things are not meant to be.

Protest In Kampung Baru Mosque and KLCC?

The article below is taken from The Sun Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR (June 12, 2008): Police may have to close the road leading to the Kampung Baru Mosque after Friday prayer tomorrow following a plan by certain groups to stage a procession from the mosque to the Petronas Twin Towers to protest the fuel price hike. Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Wira Muhammad Sabtu Osman said between 1,500 and 2,000 members of the security forces from the police, People’s Volunteer Force (Rela) and Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) would be placed on alert to stop the procession.

“Personnel from the Dang Wangi District Police Station and Sentul will also help maintain security in the area. We will close several roads leading to the (mosque) area if necessary,” he added.

He said the organisers of the procession did not apply for a permit from the district police chief but instead sent a letter to inform about the procession, reports Bernama.

Meanwhile, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim confirmed that the PKR Youth wing and members of several non-governmental organisations (NGOs) would march from the Kampung Baru Mosque to the Petronas Twin Towers after Friday prayer today to protest against the petrol price hike.

In KOTA BARU, Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat described the federal government’s moves in tackling the oil price hike as “not smart” because the approach taken had posed a big burden on the people.

He said as an oil producing country, the government had other options to stave off the effects of the global rise in oil price without having to increase the prices of petrol and diesel.

“I understand we have oil reserves for the next 20 years and natural gas reserves for 35 years. So, why not use cheaper resources such as the natural gas for vehicles (NGV).

“Besides being cheap, (natural) gas can also reduce air pollution. Why ignore this option and take the easy way out by raising petrol price and make the people suffer,” he said in a media conference in his residence in Pulau Melaka here.

Nik Aziz, who is also the PAS spiritual leader, said the federal government must be more serious in increasing the number of petrol stations selling gas nationwide.

The government announced an increase of 78 sen in the price of petrol to RM2.70 per litre on June 7, which was an increase of 40 per cent from the previous price of RM1.92 per litre.

In PETALING JAYA, Llew-Ann Phang reports that the government’s ongoing efforts to restructure the subsidy system has been labelled as “crazy” by a newly established coalition called Anti-Fuel Manipulation People’s Movement (Geramm).

In a bid to show displeasure, the coalition hopes to gather some 5,000 to 10,000 people in Masjid Kampung Baru in Kuala Lumpur after prayers today.

This will be followed by a march to the Petronas Twin Towers in KLCC.

Asked if Geramm had obtained a police permit for the event, PKR Youth chief Shamsul Iskandar Mat Amin said a formal letter was submitted to the police and its representatives had spoken to Dang Wangi officers.

“We have not got a permit and we are not applying for one but we will discuss further with the police. Furthermore, I think the police will not disturb us because they are also affected by the hike. They will help us,” he said in a press conference today.

Shamsul Iskandar said Geramm – whose official colour is red – was an apt acronym to the organisation as the people were angry and disappointed with the government’s move to raise the price of fuel by 78 sen to RM2.70 a litre.

“Geramm is also launching a nationwide petition to collate one million signatures, especially from the younger group who are deeply affected. The petition is also available on our website www.geramm.org and we are looking to mobilise the people to participate regularly in our protests,” he added.

The press conference in PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s office was also chaired by PAS Youth secretary Ahmad Sabki Yusuf, People’s Welfare Union (Ikrar) chairman Mustapa Mansor and PKR Youth vice-chief Khairul Annuar Zainuddin.

Khairul Annuar said Geramm would organise more gatherings in time to come at mosques in various states, including Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Perak and Pahang.

I’m not the smartest person around, but then again, hiking up a protest is a dumb, dumb move. These people never learn, do they? These demonstration are not legal ( LOL, since when any demonstration against the government is made legal, huh)

Demonstration and aggressions leads to no where, and definitely will not solve the escalating price of fuel in Malaysia and the rest of the world. Since the government has made its decision to raise the fuel price and not budging, you can’t be seriously thinking that by protesting this way, they will listen. Get a grip on reality people. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT LOWER DOWN THE FUEL PRICE, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO! Someone please go and do something about the global market price for fuel. Ask someone or so-so people to lower it down, then maybe the fuel price will drop, then again, maybe not! If asked to sign the pettition to protest the fuel price, yes, that will do. But sorry, huh, I won’t join you idiots in the middle of hot sun, marching and ranting gibberish! Kampung Baru and KLCC is a place where tourist wander about everyday, no matter it’s day or night. I refused to show tourist who comes to our country for sightseeing how idiotic and foolish I am.

What the hell are these people thinking? And here I thought Friday is suppose to be a peaceful day. It’s sad to see Malaysian, Muslim or non Muslim alike behave like barbarians. Why go to Friday prayers if the next thing after is you want to get involve in such stupid thing? You’re supposed to feel closer to God, make peace with with the world and be at serene and ease after the prayers….but then again, with a screwed up world, with a screwed up country, with a screwed up Malaysian mindset, we can’t expect less than having all these freaks going to Friday prayers and then do demonstration. Though I highly doubt that everyone who will be there will be Muslim. Majority will be, I supposed, since it will be held after the prayers.

Too free is it? Nothing better to do, huh?  I can accept it if these people plan a gathering for some charity bazaar or whatever sort of charity occasion after the Friday prayers to help the poor and the needy, but definitely not this idiotic demonstration. They’re fighting for the lost cause. How many demonstration in Malaysia had sucessfully reach its purpose? You tell me.

I hope the demonstration won’t get anyone hurt. Islam definitely don’t promote terror and violence. Last check, Islam itself means PEACE. The prophet himself did not promote violence.  Don’t give me the crap that the demonstration will be done peacefully. With an issue like I think they will let anger get the better of them. These kind of people are the ones who had the rest of the world shunned the Muslims and had the Muslims labeled as terrorist.

Opposition, opposition. Anwar, Anwar. What the hell are you doing? Are you too eager and desperate to be PM that you feel the need to drag Malaysian, Muslim and non-Muslim alike into deep shit? Dammit! The demonstration will have no outcome, unless of course if the purpose is to create traffic jam. Haha. Trapped in the congestion  will also waste fuel, you know? So much for demostrating against the fuel price. You’re making the rest of KL citizens who needs to use the road waste more petrol.
