Prawn beneath the noodles…

This is just a short entry from me. Originally, I thought of slumbering after a long day doing my work and revising my old novels, but as I lay on the bed fighting off my sleepiness, I heard a certain news that aggravates me to no end and I was immediately aroused by it.

My tempers flare like nobody’s business, and out of the sudden, I felt as if I’ve found my way to beat the drowsiness caused by the damn medication.

I am not a religious person, but I am a rather God fearing person, and I don’t believe that we should settle our religious difference through barbaric manner where we provoke each other’s religious belief by burning down or dirtying each other’s house of worship. That’s just plain stupid, considering God is great and could very well show his power and wrath if he wish it. I never believe that we should offend one another to resolve our religious differences.

Personally, I feel that these things are actually never an issue in the first place. truthfully, it is not. Malaysians, stop being stupid and barbaric. Wake up and use your brain.

God can take care of Himself. He is above all, and never did ask his devotees to burn houses of worship nor He asked human to use His name in vain. You are not fighting a crusade or a jihad by burning churches or mosque, you are just destroying the harmony in the country and gains nothing out of it.

Malaysians, are you stupid? Stop fighting one another and bicker with each other. STOP behaving like a bunch of spoiled children, and start looking into a more important matter, which is nation building and economic stability.

The real issue here in Malaysia is never religious issue. As long as we respect each other and tolerate one another accordingly, all of these nonsense would never arise. god will be God. Whatever name you call Him, He will still sit on His heavenly throne in Heaven.

It does not matter. Fighting over the rights to call Him using certain name is stupid. Yes… I call it stupid, because by paying attention to all of these nonsense, we are neglecting the nation building and economic stability.

Stupid fools! Inflation is going up, prices of goods are skyrocketing, and yet, what the hell are you people doing? Burning churches and dirtying mosques! Don’t you know that you could use your goddamn time better if you start looking into the economic issues? God, help me… people are just brainless and dumb sometimes!

Being religious is one thing. Being stupid is completely another thing. And as far as I am concern, everyone is being stupid as of late, cuz no one seems to look into the economic and nation building issue anymore. Poverty isn’t being eradicate by burning churches or mosque, so if you want to fight a Holy War or Jihad, fight poverty instead, that’s the real enemy of the humankind, no matter which country you’re in!

Damn you stupid fools! And damn you bloody journalists too…you people should play the role of providing NEWS to the citizens by highlighting the socio-economy issue as well as citizen’s welfare… not practicing Yellow Journalism and provoke racial and religious sentiments further by reporting about how churches and moques being violated.

I condemn you people in the journalism line, for you are no longer delivering news, but you are just writing for the sake of your pockets, and made newspaper function as a tabloid instead. You are not qualified to be media practitioner.

Cleffairy: Don’t be fooled, Malaysians. The real issue here is never the religions. There’s prawn beneath the noodles. The real issue is the economic stability, and the religious issue is just plain diversion. Don’t be fooled!

Wise man says, only fools…

I am on med, and therefore, most of you won’t be seeing me chirping much in blogosphere these few days. Yes, people. I am in a very, very dark and foul mood. The not so sweet fairy, is back, people.

I’ve wanted to sleep, but as of late, I’ve noticed that bloggers have been arrested for their writing. For insulting royal institution, for expressing their strong opinion against certain issues and whatnot, and this disturbed my mind greatly.

Mind you, this will not be another one of my opinionated view on certain current sensitive current issue, but I’d like to share something that someone wise said recently. I’ve always admired this man for his opinions and vision, because even when he doesn’t really make sense at first(see ringgit peg, see KLIA and see also Sepang F1 Circuit), he proves himself right as time passes by.

Former premier, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said bloggers should follow his lead and stick to facts if they want to stay on the right side of the law.

“Bloggers should not unnecessarily do things that are not going to benefit anybody. Why use your blog to insult people?”

Mahathir said this is how he has evaded arrest, despite ruffling feathers through his acerbic writings – of which one of the most recent accused the US government of having staging the Sept 11, 2001 attacks.

Perhaps, most of you may not be interested in Tun Dr. M’s word, as you probably think… hey… I am a mummy blogger, I am a foodie blogger, I talk about my personal stuff and happenings or even, I just gossip around about things that does not concern me, and therefore, the man’s word should not be taken into consideration, because it does not apply to me at all. It is completely irreverent to me, and I should brush it off.

But then again, his words interest me immensely, because my dear readers, sometimes… we have the tendency to write about people, and people are not even aware about it because we never bothered to ask permission from the subject in question. I suppose…it is okay if we write up good things such as birthday greetings  and not offensive things about them.

But I am aware that sometimes, bloggers gossip about other’s personal matters. Sometimes, it is not just plain annoying, but a royal pain in the eyes to see. It is absolute eyesore, and never failed to disgust me to no end.

We may and may not realize this… that when we write unfavourably about someone that we know, and maybe we don’t know at all- about people that we merely encountered on the street, but do you realize that we can sometimes be subjected to defamation and slander for writing about them because in truth, we do not have the whole picture and as we write and ‘share’ our opinions, we tend to judge and take sides?

Some people may do this for fun, just to attract traffic and improve their comment counts, but do you know that when you do so, you might have shun the person in the eyes of public, and they could actually take action against you?

You may justify your actions by saying “I am just sharing”, ” I just want to know what people think about this so and so issue regarding so and so”, but when it comes to law, such justification is absolutely unjustifiable? You may say that “Hey, this is my space, I can write whatever I like…so, buzz off if you don’t like what I write”.

However, I seriously think that freedom of speech comes with great responsibility. One should write responsibly and ethically. When you shun someone in the eyes of the public and cause damage to one’s reputation, you are defaming people, and people have rights to take legal actions against you in mitigations of damage.

Well, many of you might not know that your articles may be defaming, slanderous or even invading one’s privacy, but I hope, all of you will thread carefully, because we’ll never know when you offend people and when people decide to put you into a cauldron of hot soup.

Cleffairy: Writing is power. And with power, comes great responsibility. Either bear the responsibility, or be prepared for the consequences of your own actions.

Elizabeth III

I was named after the Queen of England. My name is Elizabeth. The Spanish called me Isabel while the French knows me as Isabelle. People who are closed to me called me Liz or Lizzie, because they can’t be bothered calling me by my whole blessed name.

Some people are just goddamn blessed that they are born in the world where democracy is practiced, and I’m not the heir to any throne, or Elizabeth I of England herself, for I might have ruled with my iron fists, and send heads rolling.

You read it right. I would have sent heads rolling, and I probably wouldn’t feel a thing about it. Cruel, yes. I am cruel. I can be extremely cruel when I want to be. And I would have made sure people remembers me for that so that they know they shouldn’t mess with me in the first place.

People are just so lucky that they are not my subjects, as while I’m very easy to please and I take delights in little pleasures the world have to offer me, I am also a very bad tempered and unforgiving woman.

I don’t forgive easily. I may have grown up like a little princess where I was taught of horseback riding, archery, chess, literature, philosophies, history, mythology and politics as early as five years old (yes, my father seen to it that I grew up like a princess, knowing what a princess should know- the only thing that I lack would probably be music and fencing), but the world had seen to it that I don’t grow up to be a weak fairy tale princess who had herself under illusion that the world is made of cotton candy, soft and sweet.

My father used to tell me that I was rather sharp-minded when I bothered to be as a child. And he was right at some point, as I don’t need to be Henry VIII’s daughter to realize that the world is a place that’s full of people who can’t wait to betray each other for their own benefit. I grew up to be rather aware of my surroundings, and I don’t trust people or respect people easily, even as a child.

And so, when I say I trust you and respect you, then you’re one of the lucky few, and you better not do anything to destroy my trust, for once it’s broken, I shall never give it back, and I’d do anything in my power to make you regret that you’ve ever been born. Yes, consider this as a warning.

Some people… they are just damn lucky that I am not a monarch, as I am quite a territorial being. I loathe it when people do as they pleased in my home, and I absolutely resent people who touched my things without permission and enter my domains to do as they please without considering my feelings on that matter. That is absolute disrespect and insult to me. Oh yes, some people are just lucky, for if I am Elizabeth I and those people are my subject, I’d have them hanged and quartered for even dare to think of touching what belongs to me. They are blessed, and lucky indeed that I am not a Queen who rule over them.

Some people are just goddamn lucky, but the world is not blessed enough to have me as a Queen, as I would have done whatever it is in power to protect my country and put it’s interest before me and I wouldn’t punish people for their faith, but punish them for their deeds and wrongdoings instead. It’s a trait many rulers and government lack, don’t you think?

Quote from Cleffairy’s latest novel: Give me not  the quill and ink, for I shall sign your death warrant.

Fear not the armies of Hell, for they shall not pass…

Short entry. Just to express what I feel at the moment.

Monarchs and those in power use whatever means necessary to justify what they do; so do religious leaders including those of Christianity. Anyone who kills and destroy in the name of God does not serve a God who is worth serving, regardless of what God it is they claimed to serve. They are the children of Hell, possessed with hatred and rage.Consumed with lust for power and blood. Chained by their own nature. They walk on the face of the Earth do do naught but spill blood of the innocent, planting the seeds of evil in the mind of many.

I pray God have mercy for their soul, for their sins are too great.

Cleffairy: Fear not the armies and the children of Hell, for they shall not pass. Justice shall be served, for God is great.

A rose by any other name…

A rose by any other name, would smell just as sweet, don’t you agree with me? Christians, show the holier than thou people that you are above the holier than thou people by showing how generous and peaceful you are.

If the word ‘Allah’ caused so much uproar, why not step back a little, and show the brainless that you have more brains and heart than them by not being barbaric and fight over what would smell just as sweet by any other name?

Instead of using Allah in the Herald, why not use God the Almighty? Or God the Great? Or even God the Merciful? Jehovah…. Jehovah,  Jehovah…God bears many name. I am more than certain He does not mind being called any name, as long as His name is not uttered in vain.

We are God’s creation, God’s children, God’s servants. God does not want us to fight over Him. He wants us to worship Him and do good to the humanity. He wants us to murmur his name in prayers, not scream His name while demonstrating Satanic deeds. God sent us to Earth to do good deeds and be good with each other. That is our purpose.

There’s no point in fighting for a loss cause, no point at all when you know that this is the country where extremists are above all. Don’t you know by now that the extremists are above the King and the government? Don’t you? Did you not see how powerful the extremists are?

They can make everyone, including the King and the government shudder and goes on their knees by terrorizing your family, your loved ones, and your children. They shall make your life a living hell. The King decreed “No… don’t do this, Islam is peace” and yet, they ignored the decree? The Prime Minister says “What went wrong? Sit and talk” and yet, his words were ignored completely.

These are the group of bastards, who claimed to be religious, and yet, they are not God-fearing. They are not afraid of hell’s fire. And therefore, they demonstrate their ways by burning your holy place and sanctuary. They are the kind who cackles like a mad sorcerer when the Muslim and non-Muslim started to have ill feelings for each other. These are the kind of people who does not follow their prophet’s ways…the prophet was a man of peace. He showed the beauty of Islam by forgiving, by showing how merciful Islam can be.

The extremists would never change their blasted ways. They are not qualified to be a Muslim, as Islam itself means peace. Extremists does not reflect that, and shall never reflect that, no matter what. Islam is a holy religion that promotes peace. Islam is beautiful. And yet these people are the kind who uses God’s name in vain.

They are the kind who provoke war and distort the harmony of the country by being a group of nincompoop…these kind of people, are the reason why weapons are created and nuclear warhead are made. These kind of people are the kind of people who plays God. They are the kind who will murder innocent babies who are born out of wedlock, and they are the kind of people who will make women become widows and children becomes orphans. They are the the kind who will torture and kill animals just because they think some animals does not deserve to live. They are the kind who claimed that they are holier than everything under the sun, and they demand we bow to them. In truth, they are murderers, demon possessed destroyers.

God Himself does not descend from His heavenly throne to burn witches at the stakes. God Himself does not light fire on those who defy Him with His own bare hands. And yet human who are extreme does that. God is above terrorist. God is above all, and therefore, God demonstrate mercy, God forgives, and God shows love through all of His beautiful creation.

Those who are truly God’s people…will not terrorize, will demonstrate mercy, will forgive, will love, and will pray for the sin of those who shall be burn in hell’s fire in thereafter.

Muslim, Islam is a religion of peace. Christians, Jesus died on the stake because of the sins of humanity. Muslims, Christians… a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.

The extremists are not a part of Islam, or a part of Christianity. They are a part of hell, for their hearts are full of violence and have been possessed by demons and rage. They are the friends of demons, for only demons will wreak havoc on Earth.

Muslim and Christians, let us be at peace with each other and resolves any disagreement by negotiating peacefully. Be at peace with each other. That is the only way to put the demons in hell, where they truly belong. They deserve hell’s fire for inspiring ill feelings among us.

People of peace… I call upon you… please sign this petition. One signature, one voice. It can make a difference.

Condemn Any Act of Violence Towards People of Other Faiths

Ogre prince and his beautiful wife…

Disclaimer: This story is fictional. Any coincidence is purely unintentional.

I’m a little bit rusty with my fairy tales. Been quite some time since I do this, so, please forgive me if this sounds rather… ridiculous. But… I really do want you guys to give me an opinion on this. This may not be up to par to my Farm Stories or even my old Muyyi Skywalker tales that cracked up the hearts of many. I’m afraid, 2009 was a year that did not really inspire me to write my very own fairy tales, and I think, now that I’m feeling particularly inspired, I better write them down before my Muse decided to go on her long MIA again. ( My damn Muse always goes on MIA…stupid bitch!)

Here goes nothing. This fairy’s tale is not suitable for children’s bedtime stories, though, cuz it’s Cleffairy’s very own tale… so tell them at your own risk.

Long, long time ago, in a kingdom not so far a way, there live an Ogre Prince. He was not handsome. In fact, he looks like Shrek. Huge, green, and ugly. He’s not nice looking at all. He’s a grumpy prince. He drinks blood for breakfast, and human that has been quartered and roasted for lunch and dinner. This Ogre Prince, he was so evil that he  plotted to get rid of his own twin brother so that he can ascend the throne when he aging father finally died. What a royal family, I must say. The father must have been wanting to die desperately, seeing that he had such an awful son to even begin with.

One day, when the Ogre Prince was riding on his old horse who will die anytime soon out of  old age in the forest, he heard a melodious female voice singing. The Ogre Prince was captivated with the siren-like voice, and so, he decided to follow the sound of the voice and was immensely pleased to find that there’s a beautiful bombshell of a maiden, bathing naked while singing at a waterfall.

The bombshell of a maiden was cleaning herself up in a rather erotic manner, leaving less for the imagination and immediately, the Ogre Prince was aroused with the scene played before him.

The Ogre Prince was so horny, you see. He wanted so much to toss the maiden over his shoulder, bring her back to his luxurious castle, dump her unceremoniously on the bed, tie up her hands on the headboard and devour her the way he desires.

But the prince was rather smart. He knows that if he wants the bombshell of a maiden in his bed, he must get her into his bed willingly. Besides, he’s the kind who is scared of pain. He wouldn’t want her to struggle and and kick him on his manhood while he was about to do his deeds. Na… uh… that wouldn’t be good for him, wouldn’t it? He wouldn’t want his little brother down there injured. It will be a waste, cuz he can’t screw anymore bombshells to his heart content if that little one down under can’t perform.

And so, this Ogre Prince stole the beautiful maiden’s clothes that she has taken off before she cleaned herself up. And when the beautiful maiden looked for her clothes in panic, the prince made an appearance, and offered the naive and unsuspecting maiden his shirt to wear. The dumb maiden  was of course grateful, and the most idiotic thing was, she followed him back to his luxurious castle when he sweet talked her into it.

The maiden became a guest at the Ogre Prince’s house, and he lavished her with jewelries, and millions of dollars. This is no ordinary fairy tale, so, the girl, though did not fall in love with the damn prince for his good looks and good behaviour, fell in lust with his bling -blings and cashy -cash. And so, when he proposed to her, she agreed readily.

And like any other fairy tales, the prince married the girl, and of course, there’s hot, romp sex involved. Things started to go wrong when the Ogre Prince showed his true colours and began to demonstrate his sadistic streak towards his new teenage wife.

The Prince’s wife freaked out of course, and wanted to be as far as possible from her marriage. She ran back home to her mama. And so, mama dearest took her back in, with loads of nagging and scolding of course.

Her mama wasn’t so pleased that her daughter not only talked to stranger, but followed him home, and married him. It would have been okay if the stranger really did love her truly, but then again, he just wanted to use her to slake his lust. Her mama is a sorceress, you see, and so, she placed protection spells around her so that the Ogre Prince couldn’t find her, and she’ll be spared from being abused physically and sexually again.

The Prince cries foul, and demanded justice be served. He looked for his wife high and lows, and when he couldn’t, he goes to a higher council who usually defended his kind, to search for his wife back. He wants her back in his bed badly, and it hurts his ego that he got ditched by a lowly woman who happens to be his wife, no less.

They searched high and low for her, but they couldn’t catch her and toss her into his bed again, for the girl’s sorceress mama is very, very powerful, and has all but send her pretty little daughter away, far away from the prince’s kingdom.

The prince was pissed. Extremely pissed. Who wouldn’t be pissed? He spent million of dollars to lure her into his bed, and now what does he get? A hard on and the whole world laughing at him cuz he couldn’t control his woman and tie her down. And so he went to the council, and made a demands that she must return to him as soon as possible and do his bidding. Not only that, she must return him all the money he gave her when he was luring her to his bed. He also made a demand that she be loyal to him and return to him immediately

Now, the story is coming to it’s end. Til this very day, the prince had to deal with his frustration, cuz the wife was too scared to go back and let him abuse her further. She live… safely, though not so sure if she found her happily ever after or not. I can be more than sure that she will be happy elsewhere and find her happily ever after if she didn’t return to that blasted husband of hers.

Neway, kids… the moral of this story is… don’t talk to strangers. You’ll never know if they have bad intention like marrying you just so that they could make a sex slave out of you. So, beware of strangers, kids. Don’t talk to them, or even take the money they offered you, even if it’s millions of dollars in cold cash. It might be a bloody trap that will make you not only loose your virginity, but also loose your freedom to walk on the street freely.

Cleffairy: The world is a creepy place. So please, beware of strangers. When in doubt, choose looks over dough. A poor man can’t harm you as much as a rich man can, and walking away would have been easier in the worst case scenario.

AIDS is a mass murderer

I haven’t been really paying attention on writing my blog these days. Something else were occupying my mind and body. I was busy writing my novel, and still writing though NaNoWriMo 2009 is over. I won. And I wanted so much to gloat about my achievements, but that will have to wait another day, because today, 1 Dec 2009, is World AIDS Day.

And because today is World AIDS Day, I’ve ‘invited’  VIPs to give you all a message. They have something to tell you. Let’s see if you readers can recognize who they are, and what these people have in common with each other.

Here’s what they have to say:

These people knows what they are talking about. They killed PEOPLE, after all. AIDS is no difference. AIDS kill people too.

Consummation of love instead of casual sex makes a difference. Being faithful makes a difference. Being monogamous makes a difference.

Playing it safe makes a difference

Stop victimizing the innocents. They are our mothers, our sisters, our daughters.

They are our brothers…

They are our children, our future

They are you, me and us

AIDS does not discriminate. So…

The New Palace…

Dear Malaysian readers… I found the sentence below very thought provoking, especially in the times of economic uncertainties:

The new “Istana is equivalent to 2.3 MidValley Cities, 4.9 KLCC parks, 209 Khir Toyo mansions, and 3,472 average semi-D houses”.

Should we, the people, not have some say in how we ourselves are financing our Supreme Heads of State?

My answer to what’s supposed to be a rhetoric question… we should have some say in how the government use the money that they extort from us through various tax that they imposed on us. But then again, to question those ‘authorities’ with absolute veto power is punishable by… erm… ISA for treachery and whatnot so if we do not wish to be dump into a place where they feed human pet food, or end up living in a self-imposed exile like RPK or even the bombastic Bala the PI, we better keep our piehole shut.

Cleffairy: One thing will never change until the day the Earth breathe it’s last is that people who wield power over others gets to do as they pleased.

Najib vs. Rosmah…

I was procrastinating from writing my NaNoWriMo novel again when I saw this, and I had to say, Malaysian  says the darndest thing.

Have a look on the vid where people are asked on their opinion on who is more charming, Najib or Rosmah.

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gn2bXBlOEOM]

So, peeps, who is more charming, Najib or Rosmah? And why?

Cleffairy: I got to love Nurul Izzah Anwar‘s answer to the question. Funny, but true. Najib does have a wonderful smile, even though he doesn’t mean it.

Earthquake in Sumatra-Tremors felt in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 – Thousands of people were evacuated from high-rise buildings here after tremors hit the country following a strong earthquake of a magnitude of 7.6 on the coast of Sumatra in Indonesia.

Reuters has reported that the earthquake struck off the city of Padang on the coast of Indonesia’s Sumatra island, damaging houses, bringing down bridges and starting fires, according to witnesses.

A regional tsunami warning was issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre immediately after the quake but was withdrawn by 7.30pm.

“Hundreds of houses have been damaged along the road. There are some fires, bridges are cut and there is extreme panic here maybe because water pipes are broken and there is flooding in the streets,” said a Reuters witness in the city. Indonesia is situated in a belt of intense seismic activity known as the “Pacific Ring of Fire”.

The US Geological Survey put the magnitude of the quake at 7.6, with its epicentre about 80km deep, and 475km (295 miles) south-south-west of Kuala Lumpur.

A series of tsunamis earlier smashed into the Pacific island nations of American and Western Samoa killing possibly more than 100 people, some washed out to sea, destroying villages and injuring hundreds, officials said on Wednesday.

Padang, the capital of Indonesia’s West Sumatra province, sits on one of the world’s most active fault lines along the “Ring of Fire” where the Indo-Australia plate grinds against the Eurasia plate to create regular earth tremors and sometimes quakes.

A 9.15 magnitude quake, with its epicentre roughly 600 km (373 miles) northwest of Padang, caused the 2004 tsunami which killed 232,000 people in Indonesia’s Aceh province, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, and other countries across the Indian Ocean.

In Kuala Lumpur, occupants were evacuated from the Petronas Twin Towers, Wisma IMC at Jalan Sultan Ismail and other tall buildings.

A member of the public who called The Malaysian Insider said he felt dizzy and thought she was falling ill before she was informed by her collegues that everyone had to evacuate the IMC tower which has 28 floors.

“Our friends at buildings nearby also felt the tremours but I am not sure if they had been evacuated.”

The New Zealand High Commission and Cathay Pacific is based at Wisma IMC.

In Bangsar, a resident of a high-rise condominium, Damyanti Ghose said she rushed down from her apartment after water began splashing from her aquarium.

“The fish were going up and down and then water splashed out,” she said.
